What is the circulation industry?

The circulation industry, as the name suggests, is an industry engaged in the flow and transaction of goods or services. In other words, after goods or services are produced by an enterprise, the entire process from the enterprise to the consumer is circulation. The former is production, the latter is consumption, and the middle is circulation. In China, the circulation industry is divided into three types: general sense, broad sense and narrow sense, which can be selected according to needs. The circulation industry in a narrow sense only includes retail, wholesale and logistics industries. The broad circulation industry includes retail industry, wholesale industry, logistics industry, catering industry, and tourism industry. In addition to the above five major sub-sectors, the general circulation industry also includes the hotel industry, leisure and entertainment industry, auction industry, pawn industry, second-hand goods industry, and specialty store industry. In China's official statistics, the circulation industry currently only includes retail, wholesale, and catering industries. The logistics industry that everyone is more concerned about currently has a big problem in statistics, because it is really difficult to define the division of labor between the transportation industry and the logistics industry.
