Dubbing actors refer to people who add dialogue to movies, which is different from stage actors and movie actors. They reproduce the characters in the original film (drama) from the sound, and take the sound as their own performance means. Before dubbing, they must fully analyze the story, artistic style, style and background of the original film, and then work out their own dubbing scheme for a certain role, which is commonly known as "dubbing".

In addition to film translation (including foreign language translation and translation between Mandarin, Cantonese, dialects and minority languages), in some films, if the actors' voices are not good, the language is not standard or does not meet the requirements of the role, they will not use their own voices.

Instead, the voice actors are invited to voice the film during post-recording. Nowadays, most voice actors refer to voice actors in a broad sense, and the types of voice actors have tended to be diversified, not just voice roles.
