Legal Analysis: The hourly minimum wage in Shanghai has been adjusted from 20 yuan to 2 1 yuan. The hourly minimum wage does not include social insurance premiums paid by individuals and units according to law. The monthly minimum wage is adjusted from 2300 yuan to 2420 yuan. The monthly minimum wage applies to full-time employees and the hourly minimum wage applies to part-time employees.

Legal basis: Article 72 of People's Republic of China (PRC) Labor Contract Law shall not be lower than the minimum hourly wage stipulated by the people's government where the employer is located.

The settlement and payment period of labor remuneration for part-time employees shall not exceed fifteen days at the longest.
