Wuzhen has a history of two thousand years. The Spring and Autumn Period was the border between Wu and Yue. In 505 BC, the State of Wu stationed troops to defend against Vietnam, hence the name "Wushu". Later, the Yue Kingdom destroyed Wu, and one of the Yue Kingdom's disciples, the Wuyu family, granted the title of "Wuzhen" here, so it was renamed "Wuzhen". Wuzhen is located at the intersection of Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces next to the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal. It is like a bright pearl in the Jiangnan water town.

The raindrops fell on the river, causing ripples, and groups of small transparent fish could be vaguely seen playing. The willows on the shore were bent by the wind, and their thin arms gently touched the river. This is no longer just a small river. I don’t know when, it has been flowing quietly by the windows and doors of every house. People go to the river to fetch water for washing. In this way, it nurtures this town and also decorates Jiangnan.

At this time, Wuzhen Xizha is like a beautiful girl who is far away from the world. She has no makeup and has a unique style. She is also like a beauty in the valley, with green sleeves and cold clothes, leaning alone on the bamboo. Although the mood is too cold. But it adds to its leisurely appearance. The lights on both sides of the strait are as fine as scales, the sound of oars is heard through the flowers and willows, and there are also red lanterns gently swaying on the side of the awning boat, extending from thousands of years. Nostalgia is like wine, and page after page is filled with wind and frost, deep and deep. Embedded in every inch of Xizha's skin. A drop of it hit my face, and when I wiped it, my face was moisturized. When I raised my eyes again, the entire ancient town was so moist. There was a slight sound somewhere, as if something had fallen, and then calmness returned. A sleepless kitten squatted in front of the flower window near the water, looking at me indifferently as I passed by.

There is always a slight sound of water around me, which brings me closer to memories and meditation. Countless figures are swimming in the shade of the trees. Through some branches, some bird shadows, as well as moonlight and starlight, I can also see the shadows of the past. , flowing out from the distant years.

As we approach Wuzhen, we gradually see the "true face of Wuzhen" clearly. We walked along the river bank, which is paved with bluestones, about 2-3 meters wide; the river is called Dongshi River, about 10 meters wide, and the water is continuous and leisurely. Typical Jiangnan water town houses with green tiles and white walls are reflected in the water. A few stone pillars facing the river hold up a room that looks like a balcony in the north. Several elderly people are sitting on chairs basking in the sun. Their expressions seem to be proud of the visitors from afar. , which is a kind of pride generated by admiration for the literary giant Mao Dun.

It turns out that the old houses in Wuzhen are all black. Like other ancient towns, all the houses in Wuzhen live near the water, facing the water, and across the water. But Wuzhen also created the most beautiful small water pavilions. They are all built on the river, as if built in the water, forming small water pavilions along the river. The lower part is driven into the river bed with wooden or stone pillars, and the beams are put up to build the house. From a distance, it looks like a boat floating on the water, and it is wider than a boat. The breeze blows and the river flows gently. It seems that these small water pavilions are also slowly swaying, and they are a living ink painting.

On the day we went to Wuzhen, there had just been a light rain, and the sky was gray. Ancient Wuzhen looked like an old man wearing a black and blue felt hat and a double-breasted mandarin lined with white. The skirt seems to be sitting on a big awning boat. The long river ripples and then quickly stitches, smoothing the vicissitudes of history. The whole Wuzhen is shrouded in thin mist, looking more and more simple, elegant, slightly hazy and mysterious.

Walking in the alleys of Wuzhen paved with bluestones, your steps gently fall on the stone slabs that have not aged for thousands of years. Every step seems to ring in history, and every brick and tile seems to be telling a story. With ancient.

Maybe Wuzhen is a painting. I don’t know which master painted it. Although the colors are dark, it gives it antiquity and comfort.

Jiangnan Water Town, just reading these words makes people think of small bridges and flowing water, and the beautiful Wuzhen, its graceful beauty and unique charm deeply fascinated me.

Wuzhen is just like a lyric poem, with deep feelings, deep meaning, and excitement; Wuzhen is also like a novel, with its ups and downs and fascinating plot. The artistic conception of the poem and the plot of the novel shaped the literary giant Mao Dun.

Today, the East and West Streets of the ancient town are planned as scenic spots. As soon as you enter the ancient town, you will find that time seems to have stopped in Wuzhen. Wuzhen miraculously retains the architectural pattern of the water town in the south of the Yangtze River during the Qing Dynasty. A river flows through the street, with houses lined up on both sides, covered by long corridors and connected by small bridges. The ancient town lives like a landscape, which will make everyone who comes to Wuzhen feel silent and surprised for a long time.

Sitting quietly in a corner of the bluestone slab, I am already a weeping willow leaf in Xizha, Wuzhen, growing quietly by the waterside. I fall asleep next to the river. I no longer care about what day or night it is, or where in this life, I only know that life will last forever. , this moment will stay forever, parking my happiness in this life and the next life in the depths of time, in the warm embrace of Wuzhen. 5. At five o'clock in the morning, the sky was still dark. Everyone arrived at the meeting point early and eagerly waited for the travel agency's bus. The young ones even took their children with them.

Laughter filled the Mercedes-Benz car along the way. At about 9 a.m., when the bus entered the Huzhou section of Zhejiang Province, it encountered a routine inspection by the traffic police.

I thought it would be done in a while, but I didn’t know that the car owner’s documents were incomplete. The driver, the car owner and the tour guide were taken to talk to each other one after another by the traffic police. Later, the driver was ordered to drive the car to the checkpoint courtyard, where they were detained in accordance with the law. Hours passed, and everyone became impatient. The originally limited sightseeing time was unexpectedly occupied. Fortunately, the Huzhou traffic police promptly mobilized a local luxury tourist car for us. This was a car that went to Beijing to participate in the event. Olympic luxury bus. At half past ten, we finally set off again.

The tour guide apologized repeatedly and joked that if there was no inspection, how could we get on this Olympic bus? It's all a joke, but our mood has been greatly reduced, and the actual travel time has also been shortened. At noon, the tour bus drove into Wuzhen, and the tour guide took us to the reserved hotel for lunch. The restaurant business here is really good, and there is an endless stream of tourists coming to dine.

We hurriedly finished our meal and entered Wuzhen Dongzha Scenic Area. Wuzhen is an ancient water town in the south of the Yangtze River. The rivers and streets in the town are parallel, and the water and land are adjacent. Residential houses are built along the river. The two sides are connected by stone bridges, which embodies the charm of the ancient town in the south of the Yangtze River with small bridges, flowing water, and people.

What attracts tourists is the cultural heritage that has been passed down for thousands of years. The town has the former residence of literary giant Mao Dun, and the Zhaoming Academy where Prince Xiao Tong, Emperor Wu of Liang in the Southern Dynasty, studied. Since it was a weekend, it was crowded with tourists.

We followed the tour guide and followed the flow of people. To enter the scenic spot, you must first cross the bridge. A Dongshi River crosses the east and west towns, and a covered bridge connects the north and south streets.

The name of the bridge is "Fengyuan Double Bridge". Under the double bridge is the "God of Wealth Bay". The boat with the wupeng is anchored in the Bay of Wealth, as if waiting for the arrival of the God of Wealth.

Standing on the bridge, looking to the west, my eyes and heart are filled with the shadow of water, soft, moist, and quiet. Most of the old houses built along the river stretch into the water, with the same white walls and black tiles, and the river channel. Wupeng boats often pass by here, and the small bridges and flowing water in the ancient poems and people's homes suddenly become a reality within reach.

It’s like a dream or an illusion, like a scene or a painting. After crossing the Shuangqiao Bridge, you will arrive at the God of Wealth Hall. Inside the God of Wealth Hall is a human-sized statue of the God of Wealth. It is the East Road God of Wealth in Wuzhen and was originally Prime Minister Bigan.

This is a special God of Wealth. Because he died with his heart out, later generations praised him as having no selfishness, and used this to warn the world that we should get wealth from benevolence and not have too much selfishness. We walked around Caishen Bay and came to "Xiangshan Hall", with a row of black counters and wood-carved signboards hanging from the ceiling. It turned out to be a Chinese medicine shop.

The drawers in the small cabinet along the wall are for storing Chinese medicine. A guillotine for cutting medicine, a table and chairs, and a few yellowed calligraphy and paintings. Since time was tight, we just went through the area just to see the flowers.

Going west, there is a quaint alley with a long bluestone road and two rows of wooden doors. This scene reminds people of Dai Wangshu's "Rain Alley", but there are no longer any girls holding oil-paper umbrellas, as sad as lilacs. Instead, there are many sunny girls holding colorful modern umbrellas that can block ultraviolet rays. .

Most of the paint on the wooden door has fallen off, revealing the original color of the wood. I don’t know how many times it took to be washed by wind and rain before it restored its original color. Some people in the wooden gate set up stalls in front of their houses to sell corn on the cob, tea eggs and other foods.

The next Jiangnan Hundred Bed House is an interesting place to go. Hundreds of types of beds from the Ming, Qing and Republic of China periods are on display.

Carved and painted with gold, all figures, birds and beasts are lifelike. These ancient beds are extremely exquisite. A wedding bed has three floors from the inside to the outside. It is like a small room. It is really a red gauze tent to warm the spring night.

A colleague of mine said that her home in Shanghai only had a room the size of a bed. A sister's bed has two floors. The inside is a bed with a flying phoenix. Perhaps the owner once decorated it with sachets, and the surrounding curtains restrained the sisters' private conversations and laughter. The outer layer is used to store the wardrobe, which is convenient. I went to my daughter’s house to change clothes.

These exquisitely crafted beds show people the prosperity and luxury of the era in which their owners lived. "Gongsheng Chaofang" is full of the aroma of wine, and there are jars of red-sealed white wine on the shelves along the wall.

This kind of wine is called "Sanbaijiu", which is made from white rice, white flour and white water. The business here is booming, as if it has been here since ancient times.

There are many aunt cake sellers in the corridor here. Sanbaijiu and aunt cake are both specialties of Wuzhen. The dyeing workshop has been seen in TV series.

In the cloth drying yard, strips of dyed blue printed cloth were hung high on bamboo poles. The fine flowers printed on the cloth swayed in the wind with the patches of blue, gently. Dancing in the air, my companion and I couldn't help but take photos here, but accidentally left the group and had to visit alone. Store after store displayed blue calico products, including tops, skirts, headscarves, etc. Due to time constraints, I couldn't choose, so I didn't buy any items.

Then we came to Yululiang Coin Museum. In this small blue-tiled house, coins are the books of history. The items on display in batches in the coin museum are all the fine works collected by Mr. Yu over the past decades. You can take a quick look at them and get a taste of the vast world of coins.

We followed the flow of people and walked into the memorial hall of Mao Dun, a great literary figure of a generation. This place was originally Lizhi Academy, where Mao Dun studied when he was a boy. The lintel of the gate of the academy is inlaid with the word "determination", and the couplets on both sides are the annotation of the name of the academy, "First establish the greatness, and those who have the will will achieve it."

After entering the door and crossing the aisle, you will see a small patio with osmanthus trees planted inside. Across the patio is the lecture hall, with a plaque reading "If you have a will, you will succeed", there is a statue of Mao Dun in the memorial hall, which introduces us to the glorious life of a generation of literary giants through words and pictures.

Mao Dun lived in Wuzhen before he was thirteen years old, and the customs and customs of Wuzhen were integrated into his life and works.

"Lin's Shop", "Spring Silkworms", "Autumn Harvest", "End of Winter"... Mao Dun added a sense of tranquility and elegance to Wuzhen.

Finally we came to Xiuzhen Temple, one of the "Three Avenues of Jiangnan Temple" located at the west end of Dongzha. The Cultivation Temple has a grand layout and majestic momentum.

The stone square in front of the mountain gate is very open. It is a place where town people welcome temple fairs and watch social operas. It was the cultural and entertainment center of Wuzhen in the old days. There is an extra large hanging above the main entrance of the mountain gate of Xiuzhen Temple.
