Which one is better to stay at, L'hotel Harbourview or Royal View Hotel, Hong Kong?

Dijing is better, because although Lina is more comfortable, the transportation is not convenient, so it is not suitable for short-term tourists, but it is suitable for meetings and so on. In fact, it is more recommended that you live near Tsim Sha Tsui, which is bustling and bustling, with the Cosmetic Street on Wai Lao Road and Fa Yuen Street being crowded with sports and leisure. In addition, it is very close to Victoria Harbor, so you can take a cruise at night to enjoy the night view.

I stayed at the 4-star Kowloon Imperial Hotel twice. The most recent time was in April this year. I booked it from Ctrip. The price was 650 Chinese guest per night, which was pretty good. There are many places to buy food around, and it is only a 10-minute walk from Old Calvary Road and a 40-minute walk from Victoria Harbour. When visiting Hong Kong, it is best to stay in Tsim Sha Tsui and Hong Kong Island, because shopping and food are concentrated here, but hotels on Hong Kong Island are more expensive.

You can read what I wrote, I hope it can help you.

Let’s talk about shopping first: Compared with the mainland, I think things from ESPRIT and EDC are the cheapest. There is one in Citygate and one in Tsim Sha Tsui. Even if you don’t like this brand, you will still be confused by such a large store and the price. attractive. Next is Levi's. The last time I went there, I bought pants with an original price of HK$899 for 399 yuan, and they looked very good. Although the Internet always recommends all other discount stores such as Citygate, I have actually been to some of them, and they are not particularly cost-effective. The main styles are not very outstanding, and there are not many good-looking discounts. For example, in the most famous Citygate, in fact, the prices of items above the third floor are discounted and not at bargain prices. Besides, if you don’t have much time to travel, of course you can’t go looking for certain places. My experience is that you can buy whatever you want wherever you go. You can visit specialty stores like Sportsman without leaving the subway station, which is great value. Secondly, cosmetics. If you want to buy cosmetics, it is recommended to live in the Tsim Sha Tsui area, where there are many cosmetics stores. The selling points of Longcheng Pharmacy are the very very cost-effective Sekkisei, Clinique butter, etc. Salsa is the most expensive, but it has a wide range of varieties. I happened to catch the essential oil sale last time and it was also a good deal. Samples and perfumes are extremely cheap in small stores such as Zhuo Zhuo. You can check out Harbor City in Tsim Sha Tsui, but you have to be specific and just go to R Us. The one selling toys is very interesting. As for scenic spots, I highly recommend taking a cruise to visit Victoria at night, it’s beautiful. During the day, it’s ok to travel around Hong Kong by car. Taking the cable car up to Victoria Peak is also highly recommended. Disney is just average, not as good as Ocean Park.

Let’s talk about food and list the ones I have eaten and thought were delicious.

1. Desserts: Hui Liu Shan, available everywhere, mango ice (38 HKD), mango pudding (38 HKD), aloe melon juice (around 16), etc. are all very delicious! Sweet but not greasy, cool to relieve fatigue.

2. Morning tea: You must try the authentic morning tea, and Chaolou is highly recommended. Near Tsim Sha Tsui. Remember to check out before 11 o'clock, everything is half price. Calculating it is more cost-effective than morning tea in the Mainland. Moreover, Chaolou is located above an office building and you can see Victoria Harbor. The environment is elegant and the waiters are all experienced chefs who are enthusiastic and kind. Recommended are chicken feet in soy sauce, shrimp dumplings, mung bean syrup, and lobster wings. My friend and I spent 120 Hong Kong dollars, and there were a lot of things to take away.

3. Roadside snacks: You can eat curry squid and curry fish balls wherever you go. You must try them, especially the squid is very delicious and costs HKD 6 per skewer. There is also an Irish-style potato shop next to Sogo Department Store on Hong Kong Island. The French fries here are very delicious. I recommend the yogurt-flavored ones, which cost more than HK$30 per serving, enough for two people. Che Zai Noodles, eaten at a roadside shop, not a well-known shop, but tastes very good, goes great with rice noodles and spicy fish balls; double skin milk, friends like it very much.

4: Teahouse: Niu Kee Teahouse, seems to be near Central, we found it when we were walking around last time. We recommend the Sha Ginger Chicken and Rose Chicken. You can order half a piece, which costs more than 60 yuan for half a piece, but it is really delicious and will definitely be unforgettable. There are also pork chop buns and stockings milk tea. The most famous shops are also in Central, but I couldn't find them. You can look for them if you have time.

5. Wonton noodles: I’ve tried two of them, and they both taste OK, but not particularly outstanding. They are everywhere. A bowl is about 25 yuan.

6. Main meal: In fact, it is more expensive, Hong Kong’s roast goose and crab. When I went there for the first time, I had Yong Kee Roast Goose, which I thought was a bit expensive. Half a roast goose and 2 vegetables cost more than 400 yuan for a bowl of noodles.

The second time I chose the spicy crab under the bridge in Hong Kong, it was much cheaper than the famous Xiji. Of course, I haven’t been to Xiji so I can’t compare. I ordered a small Vietnamese crab, a Huadiao boiled snail, two milk teas, and a seafood fried rice for a little over 300. The taste was good, but not as good as what was said online. It is not recommended to go to Lei Yue Mun. The last time my dad went to Hong Kong, four people spent more than 5,000 yuan. It was very expensive, and it was just ordinary seafood.

7. Fast food: Café de Coral is very delicious and relatively cheap. It has burgers and rice, both of which are delicious. I don’t recommend going to KFC. Although there are different dishes from the mainland, they are quite greasy and not cheap. I ate once with my friends in Citygate and it cost more than 120 yuan for two people. There was a lot left, which was too greasy to eat.

8. Beverages: I recommend bottled juices sold in convenience stores like Seven, which are very strong. It’s more expensive at 25-35 for a small bottle, but it’s definitely delicious, especially the mango and kiwi flavors.

9. Others: You can try Japanese food in Hong Kong. It is said to be very authentic, but I have never been there. I don’t like raw food, and young people in Hong Kong like it very much. I found that the restaurants there open from 11 o’clock. There were still people taking numbers until after 1 o'clock in the evening.
