Lu went to Suoguo Temple to see the vegetable garden. There are twenty or thirty local ruffians living near the vegetable garden. They often come to the garden to steal vegetables, but a few gardeners can't control them. This time, I heard that there was a new person, so I made trouble. Unexpectedly, the two leaders were kicked into the cesspit, scaring them into begging for mercy. The next day, I bought some food and wine as gifts for Lu.

Everyone was having a good time when they heard crows barking in the big tree outside the door. The local ruffians said it was unlucky, and the noisy people were upset and wanted to move a ladder to tear down the bird's nest. Lu stepped forward, looked at the tree up and down, and said, "No, take me to pull it up." After that, he took off his coat, hugged the trunk with his left hand, and held the upper part of the tree with his right hand. He straightened up and the tree was uprooted. Lu was forced to leave Tokyo because of Gao Taiwei's persecution and wanted to join Erlongshan Jewelry Temple.

Deng Long, the "Golden Eye Tiger" in the village, refused. Lu kicked him and had to block the mountain road, so Lu could not go up the mountain. When Yang Zhi learned of this, he discussed the countermeasures with Cao Zheng's family. Cao Zheng suggested that he and Yang Zhi pretend to catch Lu and send them to Erlong Mountain. Character appearance

Before becoming a monk: I saw a big man striding in and entering the teahouse. Shi Jin looked like an officer when he saw him. What he saw, however, was a scarf wrapped in sesame seeds, with two gold rings from Taiyuan, a green silk shirt from Ge, a pair of raven green taeniasis, a pair of four-seam talons and dried yellow leather boots. He was born with a round face and big ears, a straight nose and a square mouth, and a tribal beard on his cheeks. It is eight feet long and has a wide waist.

After becoming a monk:

People in the past saw it and turned out to be a wayward monk. But I saw that the soap was straight, with double sleeves on the back, and the blue ribbon tilted two heads. The Buddhist monk's knife is three feet of spring ice, hidden deep in the sheath; The mord waved a jade python on his shoulder. The crane's legs are tied tightly, and the spider's stomach is tied tightly to the mantle. There are thousands of broken wires in the seam of the mouth, and a layer of chilling hair is exposed on the chest. Produce a carnivorous fish face, not a person who recites scriptures and Buddha.

(2) I saw a fat monk, naked, with flowers embroidered on his back, sitting on the root of a pine tree to enjoy the cool.

During the Song and Yuan Dynasties, Lu was one of the 36 leaders under Song Jiang. At the same time, in Gong Kai's Thirty-six Praises of Sung River, Lu was among them, praising it as: "It is especially good to have a flying son and become a monk. The Buddha is also annoyed to be in the same robe as you. " These two works are regarded as the embryonic form or blueprint of Water Margin and the early source of images in Lu's works. ? [24]?

Lu also appeared in the Water Margin of Yuan Zaju, including "Lu Hao Appreciates Yellow Flower Rain". Zhu Youdun, a playwright from the royal family in the Ming Dynasty, wrote a play "Leopard and Monk Return to Custom". There is still a big gap between the image of Lu in these plays and the image of Lu in Water Margin who is not afraid of power and unwilling to be bound.

Exquisite nickname

"Monk" is an inaccurate transliteration of Sanskrit Upadhyaya in ancient western languages. In India, it is a general term for doctors and teachers, while in China, it is often used to address Buddhist monks. Buddhism believes that life, death, illness and death are all painful. In order to get rid of the pain, we must be pure and have no desire or desire. Therefore, the philosophy of life advocates reconciling everything. Harmony means patience and obedience, which is advocated by monks. Taking "harmony" as "Shang", monks are called "monks".

"Flower Monk" was the nickname of Lu after he became a monk, but his nickname before he became a monk was not explicitly mentioned in Water Margin. In the Yuan drama "Water Margin Li Kui jy Negative Scenery", Li Kui jy wrote a lyric: "Who doesn't know that you are Lu Shen Zhi in Guanxi Town, and you will become an outlaw when you leave Wutai Mountain?" In the novel "Water Margin", before killing Zheng Tu, Lu Da pointed at him and scolded him: "It is worthwhile for Zanjia to start investing in his old line and call it' the town of Kansai'." According to this, some researchers believe that Lu's nickname before becoming a monk was "Zhenkansai" and later changed his name to "Flower Monk".
