Freshwater sharks.

It is a genus of round abdomen (fish awn) and the common name of Su's round abdomen (fish awn). It is called "freshwater shark" because it looks like a shark, but it has nothing to do with real sharks. Also known as tiger shark, Bating fish or Bazhen fish, they are mainly distributed in Southeast Asia, with three body colors of black, white and gray, and grow in different river systems and marine systems. Black shark, called freshwater black shark, originated in Thailand and was introduced to China in 1978. The white one is called freshwater white shark, which is native to Malaysia and was introduced to China on 1998. The grey one is called Malaya River grey shark, which has good meat quality and was introduced to China in 2000.

Freshwater sharks grow in fresh water. Unlike traditional sharks, they can leave the sea and mature late. Breeding can only be carried out after 3-4 years and weighing more than 3 kg. June-September is the breeding season every year, and eggs are laid once a year. These eggs are small, sticky, yellow-green and transparent. Because it requires moderate temperature and feed, it is similar to tilapia, so its breeding method is similar to tilapia, but its disease resistance is stronger than tilapia. The size of the stocked fish is 5- 10 cm, and the breeding begins when the water temperature is above 20℃ from April to May every year.
