Design and Decoration Principles of Hotel Lobby

Personally, I think there are four principles in the design and decoration of hotel lobby.

The area is proportional to the total number of rooms.

The area of the lobby should be proportional to the total number of rooms in the whole hotel. The oversized lobby will not only increase the cost of decoration and operation, but also appear extremely deserted, which is not conducive to the operation of the hotel.

The style is consistent with the hotel positioning.

The decoration style of the lobby should be consistent with the positioning and type of the hotel. No matter what type of hotel, the interior decoration style should be consistent with its own hotel positioning and type.

♂? Reasonable streamline

Simplification should be reasonable. There are two kinds of streamline in hotel passage, one is service streamline, which refers to the backcourt passage of hotel employees; The other is the guest streamline, which refers to the route for guests entering the hotel to reach the front desk area. In the design, two kinds of streamline should be strictly distinguished to avoid the intersection of guest streamline and service streamline.

The management difficulty is small.

Streamline confusion will not only increase the difficulty of management, but also affect the atmosphere of the front desk service area.
