I have worked in a hotel for twelve years. Looking back on my own course, I find myself from a "layman" who knows nothing about hotel management to a manager who can take on heavy responsibilities. First of all, love is the best teacher

Imagine how much heat and energy it takes to melt an iceberg. This is the concentration of feelings and experiences of "sharing the same breath and common destiny".

I majored in nursing at school. After graduation, I worked in a hospital for nine years, and then worked in a government agency for three years. In 1995, I moved to Chengdu and came to my present hotel. For me, this is a major turning point in my life. Every time I think of that decisive moment, it has been twelve years today. However, these twelve years seem to have been to college twice, and these twelve years seem to have reshaped a self. Despite the storm, my heart is always sunny.

During the twelve years of working in the hotel, I have always loved the work in the hotel. This love makes me more mature, stronger and younger. This "youth" refers to a young mind, which I think is the result of breathing with the hotel. This kind of * * * breathing is to integrate one's own individual into a powerful whole life. The significance of the hotel's life carrier nature lies in that it forms a whole life of * * * breathing and * * * dependence with the big environment of the city or scenic spot. Second, only pay can be rewarded.

I am working in Chengdu alone with my children, and my husband is not around. The hardships of life can be imagined. The service work of the hotel is so complicated and heavy that it receives a large number of guests and meetings every day and invests a lot of energy and manpower. The diversified and overloaded work I have undertaken cannot be simply described in words. From making the bed and setting the stage to various services and procedures, it is just like primary school students learning from scratch. I remember that when I was sent to a four-star hotel in Dujiangyan for training, in order to better master the operation process, I had to experience every detail of every position from the front desk to the background. Although hotel service is not only a physical effort, but also a spiritual blend, it is always warm to see your knowledge increasing day by day and the hotel changing day by day.

I majored in nursing, which seems to have nothing to do with hotel service. However, my professional quality in nursing work for many years has made me patient, enthusiastic, careful and thoughtful, which is undoubtedly of great benefit to the hotel service. Generally speaking, both the work of nurses and hotel services are the work of "waiting for others" and serving the people is the basic requirement of their jobs. Once, when I was on duty in a hotel, I met a guest who was drunk and made trouble for no reason. I found people everywhere to chat with him, and even threatened to complain to the general manager. Until the early morning, in order not to disturb other guests or even cause adverse effects, despite a hard day, I rushed to the scene with a smile to compensate. Because I understand this guest, to a great extent, because he caused a disability in his leg in a car accident, he has been out of balance so far, so he often drinks. Even so, he went his own way, talking nonsense, and smashed the cup in front of me. My heart hurts when I think of the scene at that time. No one will be so rude to me, but he is a guest after all. I have to hide my grievances and tears in my heart.

Hotel work has a lot of routine work, and sometimes it takes up spare time. A conference receptionist couldn't get off work on time, so my husband came to take me home and had to eat noodles outside and go home by himself. My husband and wife have been separated for a long time, but sometimes we have to make some sacrifices for our work.

Over the years, the hotel has undergone earth-shaking changes. Every time I think of it, I am soaked with my own hard work and sweat, and my heart is full of incomparable comfort!

Third, the hotel feelings

I will never forget those days and nights during the renovation of the hotel. Due to years of disrepair, the hotel's hardware facilities became more and more obsolete. Even in the later period, a large number of termites, rats and cockroaches became frequent visitors, and the higher authorities had to take "major surgery" measures. Before and after more than a year, I experienced the whole process of hotel demolition and decoration. When construction workers knock down various metal appliances such as electric drills and hammers, it seems that every sound vibrates sensitive and sincere nerves. This also reminds people of the usual reception and orderly warm service, which is in sharp contrast with the dust and noise on the construction site, just as the pain during childbirth is in sharp contrast with the happiness during pregnancy. After all, a brand-new world is about to unfold before us, with advanced ideas and ideas. After the completion of the comprehensive reform and opening up, I have been accompanying the tour, and then I can't help but sigh: "The child who was pregnant for two years was finally born, and the dream of two years has finally come true!"

As the saying goes, "People in love are either crazy or poets". I think Madman must be too bad, so I yearn for the realm of "poet". Entering the hotel is a very accidental opportunity. I didn't expect to wait for twelve years. This 12 year is also a crucial period in my life. Not only have you tasted the taste of "ups and downs", but you are fully prepared for "the Red Army is not afraid of the expedition, and Qianshan is only idle". A cultural person has told me many times about the past of Qingyang Palace, Wuhou Temple and Caotang Temple around our hotel, that is, there were times of peace and prosperity and turmoil. In the face of such a beautiful environment and such a rich cultural heritage, I have no reason not to believe in the strong vitality of the collision of national cultures. I feel that breathing with the hotel is so great, so vivid and so rich, and I am very satisfied.
