Material preparation:
1. Go to the supermarket to buy metal rods for barbecue. I personally think that bamboo skewers and metal forks are not easy to use. Bamboo skewers will burn. of! You can only use the front end of the fork, but it takes up a lot of barbecue space, so buy the one with one end.
2. Remember to make your own oil and use mineral water bottles to decorate it. Barbecue consumes a lot of oil, especially if you want to grill it tenderly. Although oil is also sold in barbecue places, you can rest assured that you can use it at home. Save money again!
3. Prepare some disposable bowls, plates and chopsticks.
4. Bring a brush, which is actually the kind of brush you use to apply paint. Of course it must be clean! ^o^The brush is used to apply oil and seasoning.
5. Nowadays, disposable barbecue grills are also available in supermarkets. They are actually just an aluminum box with some briquettes inside. However, they are generally sold in barbecue places. They cost about 20-30 each. It's a place where people can make some money. If you already have a lot of stuff, you might as well go there and buy it. However, my personal opinion when using such a stove is that it is best to use it with carbon! This is very important! We often see people around us rushing around in a hurry to make a fire, LP and GF are angry on the side, and men are remembered like ants on a hot pot! Huhu, at this time LG and I were grilling and eating leisurely, haha! It fully reflects the benefits of bringing your own carbon! Long-lasting, uniform firepower and high temperature!
Where does the carbon come from? Of course, there is a 3KG box of carbon sold in the supermarket now, but we bought it at a barbecue stall near our home, and the carbon quality there should be better. But this is the responsibility of LG, so you can handle it as appropriate according to the specific situation. B&Q now also sells ovens of various sizes, which are more suitable for friends with cars. Of course, you need carbon even more at this time!
Food preparation:
Of course it depends on your own taste. For example, if you like meat or seafood, let me introduce what I often use for barbecue.
1. Beef + green pepper
Remember that the beef should be in smaller pieces, otherwise it will be old on the outside and still raw on the inside. You can choose organic green peppers, which are sweet and delicious, or just choose bell peppers. It doesn't matter if you cut it into larger pieces. The combination of these two meat and vegetables is delicious and nutritious. In fact, I even think green peppers taste better! Be patient and roast the green pepper until it deflates.
2. Chicken wings
The meat must be seasoned and marinated in advance, especially the chicken wings. It is best to change the knife so that it is both delicious and easy to grill. It is best to buy fresh ones and marinate them yourself. The ready-made seasonings on the market have flour on the surface and are easy to burn.
3. Scallops + large prawns
Excellent! Since discovering these two delicacies, LG and I don’t even bring chicken wings. Wash the large prawns and skewer them together with the ends when grilling. Just turn them red on both sides. They taste like a special sweet seafood taste. It is recommended not to dip them in seasonings. Buy scallops that are frozen and plated. When grilling, separate them carefully, brush them with oil and seasonings, and bake them directly on the rack. After roasting, the soup will come out, which is especially delicious! Be careful when handling! Don't waste the soup.
4. Corn
Corn is difficult to roast. First, the corn must be selected well. We try our luck every time, so it is good and bad. Generally, choose medium-sized sweet corn. When grilling, remember to brush the whole thing with oil and put it in a place with relatively weak firepower. Because it takes a long time to bake, you can put it there to grill other things, but remember to turn it over at any time! Otherwise there will only be one black stick! :P
5. Eggplant
Cut it into thin slices in advance and skewer it when grilling. Just like a green pepper, it tastes best when it is deflated, but it is very oily.
6. Yam
Great! ! After lighting the fire, throw the potatoes directly into the charcoal pile. The batch of potatoes will be ready when you are halfway through eating. You can put another batch in and take it out to eat after the others are finished grilling. It tastes better than the baked potatoes sold outside. The main thing is that after eating so many greasy and salty things, I ended up with something sweet and glutinous that warms my stomach.
7. There are many flavors of barbecue sauce bought in the supermarket. Choose according to your own taste.
I don’t think I need to bring too much. I once met an awesome man who brought almost all the seasonings at home to the barbecue, such as salt, chili powder, and cumin powder. . . As a result, we were busy for a long time without even lighting a fire. In the end, we gave them the charcoal after we finished eating. It can be seen that being able to make a fire is the key to barbecue!
Note: If you are interested in fish, remember to bring tin foil! Otherwise the fish will stick to the grill! However, I think the fish is a bit fishy, ??which is of course a personal preference. The things we bring are all processed in advance and put into small plastic bags. Things like meat and seafood are put in Lock and Lock bags because they have more moisture. It will definitely come in handy to bring some extra newspapers with you when lighting a fire. Otherwise, just bring a good mood and choose a good weather, you will definitely be very happy
