Main varieties of cotton, hemp and their blended fabrics

The main variety of cotton, hemp and their blended fabrics (1) is plain weave. Made of 20-30 cotton yarns, it has the natural color of cotton fiber and contains less cotton impurities. The cloth surface is smooth, delicate, strong and resistant to friction, but its elasticity is poor. Mainly used for pictures of women's clothes such as wrapping cloth, interlining cloth and quilt cover.

(2) Viscose cotton plain cloth: made of viscose fiber 63% and cotton fiber 37%. In addition, cotton viscose plain cloth is made of 50% cotton fiber and 50% viscose fiber. The cloth body is compact, the cloth surface is flat, the wear resistance is stronger than that of artificial cotton, and the hygroscopicity is higher than that of pure cotton. Suitable for making shirts. (3) Cotton plain cloth: 50% cotton, 50% vinylon or 67% cotton, 33% vinylon. Blended with plain weave, the appearance basically maintains the style of bridge cotton cloth, and there is no difference between the front and back. The fabric surface has less impurities, uniformity, durability, softness and smoothness, white color and good luster. Suitable for bedding and various auxiliary living cloths. Cotton three-dimensional plain cloth has poor alkali resistance and heat resistance, poor wrinkle resistance and high shrinkage. Therefore, white-collar work clothes should be paid attention to when sewing and washing.

(4) Coarse cloth: plain weave. It is made of coarse cotton yarn with less than 20 counts, with rough texture and more impurities on the cloth surface. However, the cloth is thick and friction-resistant, so it can be used as lining material.

(5) Fine cloth: plain weave, woven with more than 30 fine count yarns, with fine surface, soft and light texture and natural luster of cotton fiber, which can be used as underwear and interlining hotel work clothes.

(6) Polyester-cotton worsted fabric: plain weave, which can be bleached, dyed and printed after printing and dyeing. It has wrinkle resistance and smoothness. This is a durable ironed fabric. Smooth and crisp, good size concealment and pleat retention, easy to wash and dry, but poor moisture conductivity.

(7) Poplin: It is the main variety of cotton cloth and belongs to plain weave, including dyeing, printing, yarn-dyed and bleaching. Because the density of warp yarn is higher than that of weft yarn, the warp yarn on the cloth surface presents diamond-shaped grain, which is a unique feature of poplin. The texture is fine and shiny, the fabric is soft and smooth, and it is crisp and comfortable to wear. Poplin is called Jacquard, Jacquard and Jacquard because of its silky feeling, all of which change their appearance in plain weave structure. Poplin is suitable for adult shirts and all kinds of children's clothes. Because the warp density is greater than the weft density, there is a phenomenon that the weft breaks first in use

(8) Polyester-cotton poplin: plain weave structure, which can be divided into three categories: bleaching, dyeing and printing after printing and dyeing. The cloth surface is smooth and the luster is soft. The diamond-shaped particles on the cloth surface are prominent, and the fabric is crystal clear. In addition, the smoothness and dimensional stability of cloth surface are far from being comparable to ordinary cotton poplin. If more than 55% is nylon blended, it is said that nylon/polyester poplin is one of the most important fabrics for men's and women's shirts and dresses.

(9) Cotton poplin: 50% cotton and 50% vinylon blended weaving. The structure and appearance are similar to cotton poplin. More durable than cotton poplin. But the color is very poor. Cotton poplin has a smooth surface and a light texture. Suitable for shirts and skirts. If rainproof agent is added to this fabric, it can be used as windbreaker and cotton poplin, and the precautions are the same as those of cotton plain cloth.

(10) Blue-and-white cloth: printed plain cloth with white flowers on a blue background with China ethnic style, commonly known as blue printed cloth. Plain weave, woven with medium and coarse count yarn, with thick body and thick bone. The pattern has a strong oriental sentiment. Suitable for shirts, skirts, etc.

(1 1) Four-rib satin: Full-line plain fabric with similar appearance to silk rib satin, hence its name. The warp yarn adopts fine count combed yarn and the weft yarn adopts coarse count yarn. The fabric is thick and has obvious horizontal linear stripes, so it is also called horizontal rib satin, which is dyed with advanced fast dyes and has a luster. Good color fastness, suitable for all kinds of young men and women.

(12) serge: the density ratio of warp and weft is close, the twill grain is close to 45, and 2:2 twill is mostly used. Because the warp and weft are not as tight as gabardine and khaki, it feels softer. Dyed into a big flower in Kobanawa. Hometown has a strong earthy flavor. It is often used to make quilt covers, shirts, fashion and so on. It has a unique style.

(13) Khaki: "Khaki" is a transliteration of foreign words. Twill structure, warp density is higher than weft density 1 times (l) yarn card: the front is "Si" grain, and the reverse grain is not obvious, which is generally called single-sided card. It has a high density and is thick and strong. (2) Line card: The front is "left" with clear lines on the front and back, which is generally called double-sided card. Because the density is too tight, it is not as soft as the yarn card. The folded part is easy to wear and stain. Khaki is usually used to make coats. Trousers can be made into rain-proof khaki after special treatment.

(14) polyester-cotton khaki: twill weave, commonly known as polyester khaki. 65% polyester fiber and 35% cotton are blended. The fabric structure is dense, the surface of the fabric is smooth, flat and crisp, and the wrinkle resistance is excellent. Good dimensional stability, easy washing, quick drying, non-ironing and light resin finishing, and the color fastness is obviously improved.

(15) Straight satin and horizontal satin: satin weave. The fabric is delicate, smooth, smooth and shiny. The cloth body is soft and thick, and the grain tendency is clear. However, due to the long floating thread of satin weave, it is not resistant to friction and will be fuzzed after wearing for a long time. In contrast, the luster of horizontal satin is better than that of straight satin, because the yarn count is fine and dense. The horizontal floating yarn has strong reflection and silky feeling under the light. Due to the fabric structure, the fabric surface is easy to be scratched and pilled. The beam is subjected to durable photoelectric polishing treatment and is not easy to pilling.

(16) Hemp yarn: Fine count yarn with good quality and tight twist is used as warp and weft, which belongs to plain weave structure. Single yarn and double yarn are arranged at intervals, and the surface width of the fabric is uneven. Uneven stripes are similar to linen fabrics in appearance, especially after bleaching and mercerizing. They are smooth, smooth and cool. They have the style of linen fabric, so the varieties of linen yarn are called mesh, printing, jacquard, check and so on. Mostly used for women's wear, children's wear and men's shirts. Due to the structure, the weft shrinkage is slightly larger than the warp shrinkage.

(17) Bari yarn: It is a kind of light plain fabric, and the warp and weft are made of fine combed high-twist yarn or thread. Clear cloth holes, good air permeability and comfortable feel. Can be used as men's and women's shirts, pajamas, children's wear, interior decoration, etc.

(18) seersucker: There are three main weaving processes of seersucker: a) printing caustic soda solution on the surface of cloth by printing, and taking advantage of the characteristic that cotton fiber will suddenly shrink when it meets caustic soda solution; B) Direct weaving during weaving, generally called crepe weaving; C) The patterned bubble cloth rolled by machinery, also called embossed cloth or concave-convex cloth, is made of light and thin thin cloth, so it is three-dimensional, light, cool and breathable, and is suitable for women's wear in summer. No ironing is needed. The disadvantage is that after wearing it several times, the bubbles will gradually flatten out. To ensure the durability of foam, do not use hot water or rub hard when washing.

(19) Jeans: Jeans belong to yarn-dyed fabrics. High strength, good elasticity, thick and firm cloth body and friction resistance. Suitable for work clothes. The warp yarns of denim are generally dyed blue, and the weft yarns are white or gray. Because the front warp of the cloth has many floating points and dark colors, and the back weft has many floating points and light colors, it forms the front and back sides of different colors. The shrinkage rate of labor cloth is large. It is not advisable to wash with hot water and alkali.

(20) Chaoyang Plaid: Cotton Chaoyang Plaid is a kind of light and thin yarn-dyed plaid with short color matching period, with 50% warp and 50% weft and 50% white. Because of its bright and white color, it is suitable for primary and secondary school students and children to wear, and can be used as underwear or coat to make children more lively and lovely and full of vitality. Therefore, it was named "Chaoyangge". This variety has many colors such as dark color, medium color, light color and colorful color, which can almost be matched with bleaching. There are large grids and small grids. The large grid area is about 5cm, and the small grid area is only 0.4cm.

(2 1) Crepe: The surface of crepe fabric is naturally covered with crepe silk. This is because the high-strength twist weft yarn is shaped under certain tension conditions, and the shrinkage force of the high-strength twist weft yarn is recovered through loose finishing, which presents an irregular wicker effect on the fabric surface. Crepe is more stereoscopic than silk, soft to the touch and good in moisture absorption and air permeability.

(22) Polyester-cotton Oxford spinning: it is the special name of plain yarn-dyed fabric. Two polyester-cotton blended yarns are used as warp yarns, and combed cotton yarns are interwoven. After bleaching, dyeing and resin finishing, the products are bleached and lightly mottled. Light variegated Oxford cloth is white and even, commonly known as "idea". Good visual effect, smooth cloth surface, soft hand feeling, strong resilience and low shrinkage.

(23) Polyester-cotton rags: plain weave, commonly known as polyester. The cotton fiber in the fabric is partially decomposed by chemical corrosion, which is full of three-dimensional sense and unique style. According to the different processing technology, it can be divided into three categories: bleaching, plain color and colored burnt-out. Plain, quiet, elegant, generous and gorgeous. It has the characteristics of smooth cloth body, good drape, soft hand feeling and strong resilience. Be careful not to rub and twist hard when washing, so as not to deform the pattern. (24) Polyester-cotton glossy waterproof cloth: plain weave, which is a waterproof product with slight aurora on the surface of common polyester-cotton fabric after dyeing. Moist color, bright luster, smooth feel, stable size, light and flat, and durable waterproof performance. (25) It is one of the emerging fabrics. If the fabric is interwoven into various patterns, it is called polyester-cotton weft jacquard fabric, which is soft, fine and clean, bright and wrinkle-resistant, and it is the suit style of medium-thick silk-like products in polyester-cotton blending.

(26) Polyester jacquard fabric: plain fabric, fine fabric blended with polyester and rich fiber. 65% polyester fiber and 35% rich fiber are blended and woven. Grey cloth printing. The surface of the fabric is smooth, flat and smooth, light and soft, and has good drape, which has the style characteristics of medium-thick silk fabric. Can be made into women's shirts, long skirts and dresses.

Velvet: There are many colors, such as primary colors, dyeing, printing and yarn weaving. Single-sided velvet is twill weave, while double-sided velvet is plain weave. Velvet is a fluffy suede formed on the fabric surface after napping treatment, which increases the air content of the fabric, thus reducing the thermal conductivity and enhancing the warmth retention. Therefore, velvet is often used as winter underwear. Because its cloth body is thick and soft, it feels comfortable to touch the skin, so it is suitable for baby's close-fitting clothes. Traditionally, it has been used as the lining of China's clothing.

(28) Corduroy: During weaving, wide or narrow floating yarns are interwoven and floated on the cloth surface, and then the cloth surface is cut by a velvet cutter and brush pile, and the cloth surface is in the form of vertical velvet strips. For example, corduroy, so it is called corduroy, also called velvet or corduroy. Corduroy is wide and narrow, fluff is long and short, as well as printing, jacquard, yarn-dyed and so on. The material is characterized by full lines, thick and soft, and wear resistance. When washing, be careful not to scald, rub or beat with hot water to avoid falling down, and don't iron to avoid falling down. In addition, pay attention to the opposite direction of fluff when cutting. Corduroy can be used for coats, shoes, hats and decorations.

(29) Velveteen: There are towering fluff on the surface, which belongs to plain napped structure. It needs to be cut by brush pile. Suede is smooth, plump, warm and wear-resistant. But it is easy to fall off when worn for a long time. Avoid rubbing cotton wool when washing, cotton wool is shiny and soft to the touch. Elastic, not easy to wrinkle, thick cloth body. Spring and autumn are often used for high-end women's wear and coats. When ironing velveteen, pad it with water cloth, and then brush it after ironing.

(30) Ramie cloth: the warp and weft yarns are mainly middle count yarns, and hand-made ramie can be used as mosquito nets, linen linings and interlining materials. Woven linen can be bleached or dyed to make various clothes. Ramie cloth is cool and breathable, and does not stick to the body after sweating. It is an ideal summer clothing fabric. It can also be used for embroidery, curtains, decoration and so on. In addition to pure ramie cloth, there are cotton and linen, polyester and linen blended, polyester and cotton, polyester and linen interwoven and so on. , can be used as summer clothing materials.

(3 1) Primary color summer cloth: Also known as soap color summer cloth or natural color summer cloth, it is made of ramie by hand with indigenous methods. Because the finished products without bleaching and dyeing are all home textiles and home textiles, the quality of products varies greatly. Some products have fine and uniform yarn count, smooth and flat cloth surface, elasticity, solid texture and white and clean color, which are suitable for making summer shirts and trousers.

(32) Bleached summer cloth: The bleached summer cloth is white and bright, and the cloth body is crisp. Some ramie fibers or ramie yarn are bleached first and then woven into summer cloth (called this white summer cloth). Although the color of the cloth surface is whiter than the primary color summer cloth, there is no bleached white after weaving. The quality is exquisite, clean, flat and crisp, suitable for summer clothes, and rough texture can be used as mosquito nets.

(33) Flax: A medium count yarn fabric made of flax fibers. In addition to pure linen fabrics, there are fabrics interwoven with cotton warp and linen weft, which are firm and smooth in texture and softer in hand than pure linen. Flax is divided into primary flax and bleached flax, which has good heat dissipation, cool and smooth, flat and wrinkle-free, easy to wash and dye. They are usually used for coats, work clothes, shirts, trousers and navy clothes.

(34 flax: because the fiber contains more lignin, it has high rigidity and poor elasticity, but it has strong hygroscopicity and corrosion resistance. Yellow linen is not often used in clothing, but it is mostly used as packaging material and sack cloth, sofa bottom cloth and carpet.

35 polyester blended Paris: hemp content 52%. Because hemp and polyester have different dyeing properties, they can be dyed into wool Paris style. The fabric has moderate density, good air permeability, cool hand feeling, good wrinkle resistance and comfortable wearing. It is a newly developed summer clothing fabric.

(36) Polyester-linen blended tweed: chemically modified ramie is blended with wool and polyester, and the ramie content is 65,438+05% ~ 35%, which not only has the characteristics of cool and comfortable linen fabric and good air permeability, but also has the characteristics of stiff and elastic polyester-wool tweed.
