I guess Emperor Qianlong has never been to Tibet or seen Potala Palace with his own eyes. But there must be many people describing to him how magnificent the Potala Palace is, saying that Master Qianlong was tickling, but he couldn't go himself, so he ordered someone to build a replica in Chengde. Being an emperor is like this. You can build a similar one around all the beautiful things in the world. With imperial power, you can own the whole world without leaving home.

Fushou Temple in Xumi Mountain is the last royal temple among the eight outer halls. The completion of this temple coincides with the 70th birthday of Emperor Qianlong. The Sixth Panchen Lama, who was far away in Tibet, took the initiative to apply for the birthday of Emperor Qianlong. Emperor Qianlong was very happy and ordered the construction of the Panchen Palace. If the Panchen Lama hadn't acceded to the throne on his own initiative, I'm afraid there wouldn't be this longevity temple in Sumi Mountain. A suggestion for tourists who are going to visit Chengde: Chengde city is very small, and the scenic spots are also very concentrated. It is enough to visit for two days. If you want to spend more than three days in the summer and enjoy the cool, it is recommended to spend one day watching the peak performance around the summer resort and the rest of the time going to the grassland.
