You must make time to spend two days in this quiet and peaceful flower town in Yunnan.

Colorful Yunnan, beautiful and colorful! There are few other places that have the magic of Yunnan: when you are happy, you want to go crazy for two days; when you are tired, you want to rest for a few days; when you are frustrated, you want to be in a daze; when you are bored, you want to go shopping; when you are in pain, you want to heal your wounds. When the spring breeze is triumphant, I want to find a paradise-like feeling... It can be said that except for the ocean and desert, this place can meet your most demanding and strict requirements for all beautiful scenery, because it is really beautiful here!

In this dazzling starry sky, there is one of the brightest stars, and it is Lijiang. Since ancient times, it has been an important passage for the "Southern Silk Road" and the "Ancient Tea Horse Road". Among the bright stars in Lijiang, there is such a quiet, romantic flower town. It is a hub for visiting Lijiang Ancient Town, Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, Lugu Lake, Shangri-La, the First Bend of the Yangtze River and the Three Parallel Rivers Scenic Area. It has a long history and distinctive national characteristics, making it an ideal choice for everyone to take a break during transit. Yes, it is Shuhe Ancient Town, four or five kilometers away from Lijiang Ancient Town (Dayan).

The ancient towns in my impression are similar, mostly with small bridges, flowing water, and antique charm. What fascinates me most about Shuhe Ancient Town is its flowers, plants and garden landscape. Yunnan's unique geographical location and climatic characteristics make the flowering period here longer, the varieties more complete, and the flowers bloom more colorfully. Therefore, there is almost no courtyard without flowers and grass, no courtyard without gardens. Once upon a time, I had dreamed of having such a small courtyard, full of flowers and bamboo curtains, where I could pick up flowers and plants, sip tea, and lazily bask in the sun in my spare time. Unexpectedly, Shuhe Ancient Town perfectly integrated all the good wishes in my heart, which is why I love it.

In the morning light, walking on the smooth stone road, patting this exquisite courtyard, smelling the handful of slightly blooming flowers, the beautiful emotions in my heart spread like ripples little by little...turn around A few deep and quiet alleys suddenly opened up before our eyes. It turned out that we were in the Feihua Touching Water Scenic Area. It is said that this place was originally a rural pond with frog drums playing, but was later built into the most beautiful place in Shuhe Ancient Town according to local conditions. Clear river water, criss-crossing wooden planks, and unknown flowers surround bars of different styles. I heard people say that if you wait until April when the catalpa trees bloom and the spring breeze ripples, you will see countless flowers flying happily from mid-air into the water. Or, when you are drunk in the middle of the night, a beautiful flower-like beauty will fly into the pool, which is a real flying flower touching the water.

In a corner not far away is the three-eye well with Naxi characteristics. Although it looks inconspicuous, it is the crystallization of the wisdom of the Naxi ancestors. The three-eye well is actually a spring with water flowing in three levels from high to low, with three enclosures built with stone strips or slabs. From high to low, the first well is for drinking water, the second for washing vegetables, and the third for washing vegetables. Three-eye laundry. Because the three wells are formed according to the terrain, the water from the lower pond will not pollute the water from the upper pond, and it can be used by people with different needs at the same time, which is economical and environmentally friendly. On the way to Jiuding Longtan, I also saw another group of three-eye wells. I wonder how many groups of such wells there are in the ancient city?

Going further, there is a very small market, which mainly sells some fruits and various mushrooms. There are also several small breakfast shops, which are full of fireworks and market atmosphere. Not far along the river, we came to Qinglong Bridge, the oldest bridge in the town. It is backed by Jubao Mountain and the mulberry bridge deck has a heavy feeling. This was once the site of the Ancient Tea Horse Road. Standing on the bridge, the sound of horse hooves seems to be heard in your ears. The stones on the ground are polished until they are as smooth as a mirror. During the day, we often see some children playing on the slide here. From time to time there are also some brides-to-be taking wedding photos. Under the bridge is the center of the ancient city - Sifang Street. It seems that all Naxi small towns have such a place. Turning a little further, there is a small Tea Horse Road Museum, where you can learn about the mysterious and legendary history and stories of the Tea Horse Road. Unfortunately, it was temporarily closed when I went there. (Sorry, this is a bit confusing, because I can never tell the difference between east, west and north when I go out, so I can only wander around!)

If you want to find a quiet place to sit, you can go to the "Jiuding Longtan" Look, the locals also call it "Longquan". Here, surrounded by mountains and rivers, there are two small semicircular stone pools, one above the other and one below. There is a pavilion built between the two pools. It is a good place to watch the "Nine-Tripod Dragon Pool" and rest in a daze.

Most of the residences in the ancient town have been renovated into inns, and the sales points are relatively concentrated. Therefore, the ancient town is more peaceful and less noisy.

The typical structural layout of Naxi folk houses is "three rooms and one screen wall". There is a front yard and screen wall at the entrance, a hall in the middle, a large courtyard at the back, and a small courtyard on each side of the hall. In the ancient town, flowers are planted in small courtyards and trees are planted in large courtyards. There are flowers and fruits all year round, and the pavilions and pavilions are carefully crafted. Almost every inn here is very elegant. For example, the standard room in the small courtyard I stayed in cost 120 yuan. It was clean and comfortable. There was a small pond in the courtyard, where fish played freely and there was a lush fruit tree. The residents here are very friendly. Even if you don't stay, you can still walk around and take photos.

I heard that the new urban area outside the ancient town is dominated by some high-end hotels and villas. A girl who came back from Lugu Lake in the same car booked a villa outside the ancient city gate for 240 yuan a day. Because she planned to go to Shangri-La early the next morning, this place was more comfortable and convenient. Bless this independent and brave girl! She has been to Yunnan alone more than once. This time it was because she had a week's vacation that she came to this place that she loved so much. Yunnan has such magic power! Lijiang has such confidence! Shuhe Ancient Town is suitable for all kinds of people to stay for a few days.

I just walk around casually and like the feeling of walking on the road. The plan for the second half of the year is to travel to Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau, Hubei or Hainan (beautiful scenery, ticket discounts, air ticket packages). Friends who like me, please continue to pay attention and support. Thanks! #Meet a Beautiful Destination#
