Huangshan travel guide: the latest two-day tour guide to Huangshan

Huangshan is a natural scenic spot with great cultural charm. Of course, its steep landform environment gives people unlimited space imagination and meaningful plot, which can meet all your needs. It is one of the best tourist destinations. This is a detailed two-day tour guide to Huangshan Mountain.

Best travel arrangements

This trip is very simple. From the entrance of Yungu Temple in the south gate, also known as Houshan, take the Yungu cableway up the mountain. Stay in the newly opened "Yun Qi (J)" BB on the mountain, transfer to Qian Shan the next day, take the Yuping cableway to (Ciguang Pavilion) and go down the mountain.

In addition, the north gate and west gate of Huangshan Mountain can also climb mountains, but generally speaking, tourists rarely climb mountains from these two gates. Of course, Huangshan and its surrounding areas are particularly large, and even the tourist routes that have been built in the scenic area are worth exploring. It is recommended to come here many times, and friends with certain experience can take the north gate or the west gate.

Next, I will intersperse my experience of climbing Huangshan Mountain four times in the past ten years, and divide it into three parts from the perspective of an ordinary tourist to bring you a reliable strategy. No matter whether you have been to Huangshan Mountain or several times, I think it is worth seeing!

How to choose Huangshan tourist routes

The route selection here is only for Huangshan scenic spot, and the surrounding small scenic spots and Hongcun are not included in the planning. Huangshan Scenic Area suggests booking for two days and one night. If you are really in a hurry, you should stay for one night, either half a day ago or half a day later. In this way, when the light and shadow change in the morning and evening, we can have a chance to see sunrise, sunset, Buddha's light, starry sky and so on.

The most conventional way to climb the mountain is to climb from the south gate and take a bus to the entrance of Qianshan (Ciguang Pavilion) or Houshan (Yungu Temple) of Guo Xin Line Transfer Center in Tangkou Town. Tickets are all 19 yuan. You can take a floating car and have a lot of trips.

This station also has long-distance buses to and from Hongcun, Huangshan North Station and Hefei. You can check and buy it at the station princess in advance. I come from Houshan. Yungu cableway fare 80 yuan/one way, Qian Shan Yuping cableway fare 90 yuan/one way. You can reserve your ID card in advance to take the park cable car to avoid queuing time.

After going up from the back mountain, you can follow the tour route of the scenic spot and go to the famous scenic spots such as Mengbi Shenghua and Monkey Watching the Sea in Beihai Scenic Area. If you want to stay, there are several hotels in Beihai. This time, we live in Yun Qi BB in Beihai. Those with good physical strength or plenty of time can go on and live in other places. This will introduce the advantages and disadvantages in detail in the last section.

The next day, you can watch the sunrise in Beihai. A straight line leads to the second peak of Huangshan Mountain, with an altitude of1860m. The observation deck here is relatively open and can be viewed from all angles. It is also an excellent viewing platform of Huangshan Mountain, which can also be said to be the dividing point between the front and back mountains. It is a must-see place for mountain climbing.

In addition, flights that can bypass Paiyun Pavilion from Beihai and then walk to Guangming Peak will take more roads. But this route can go to Xihai Grand Canyon, and there are trams to take, which is suitable for friends with plenty of time. Baiyun Pavilion is a good place to watch the sunset. I think it is the most beautiful to fly from here. You can choose according to your own situation.

On the way from Beihai to Guangmingding, you can also see the flying stones around the pavilion, but the phrase "the distance is different" may not look so beautiful.

From Guangmingding down the mountain, the road is relatively smooth, and there is basically no fork in the road. Along the way, you can pass through scenic spots such as Aoyu Peak and Baibu Ladder. Compared with the back mountain, the scenery of the front mountain should be more worth looking forward to.

You can go all the way to Yuping Scenic Area to see the welcoming pine, then take Yuping cableway or walk down the mountain to the entrance and exit of Ciguang Pavilion.

However, between Guangmingding and Ciguang Pavilion, you can choose whether or not.

However, it is worth noting that Tiandu Peak and Lotus Peak alternate every five years. In 2008, it was the turn of Lianhuafeng to open, and Tiandufeng was closed, so I won't go into details here. When the weather is bad, the Lotus Peak will be temporarily closed, so you should listen to the notice of the scenic spot in time. This time, because of the time, we just looked at the Lotus Peak from a distance and didn't mean to climb to the top.

This is a two-day classic route. Of course, some people can finish it in one day, and some people are willing to stay for half a month, and the experience is completely different. Do you want to travel or feel deeply? Then you can arrange it separately. I hope my explanation of the route can help you plan your favorite route.

By the way, some tourists signed up for a tour group to save trouble. It should be noted that you may sign up for a two-day tour or a three-day tour, only to find that only one day can go up and down the mountain, and the other two days are arranged in small scenic spots around the foot of the mountain. It depends on whether you have arranged to live on the mountain. There is also a tour guide who won't take tourists to Lotus Peak or Tiandu Peak. Because of the high risk factor, the risk is difficult to control, and the physical strength of the members in the group is inconsistent, which wastes time. Generally, it is not recommended to join the group.

What do I need to bring to Huangshan Mountain?

What do I need to bring to Huangshan Mountain? In fact, this is also a very important link. Take too many things, affecting mountaineering; It's silly not to take things when you need them.

First, food and water. This part should be moderate. It depends on the length of the mountain, but there are also shops and vending machines on the road (this is only seen in Tianhai, 10 yuan a bottle of mineral water) to supply. This time, we went up the mountain by cableway, and we lived and ate in Yun Qi, so we only brought some snacks to climb the mountain. When we went down the mountain, we got free drinks from Yun Qi's room, which was very pleasant.

Followed by shoes and clothing, it is recommended to wear professional outdoor brands. It's hard to say whether it will be sunny or not, but the climate on Huangshan Mountain changes very quickly, and the weather forecast is actually unpredictable. Huangshan often encounters heavy rain, so it is definitely not possible to take an umbrella at this time, because it is inconvenient to walk in windy weather.

I always wear a disposable raincoat, but it turns out to be very stuffy. It's raining outside and sweating inside, which makes me very uncomfortable. This time I'm wearing Jack's wolf claw coat, quick-drying T-shirt and hiking shoes. The T-shirt was soaked in sweat several times, but it dried as soon as the wind blew. When it rains, I put on my coat, which is waterproof and breathable.

It is best to choose a backpack with a backpack system, which is convenient to carry. In addition, the waterproof and tear resistance of the backpack should also meet the standards. Warm reminder, outdoor equipment must not choose some very low-priced cottage products in a treasure or a winter. They look ok, but their functionality is extremely poor. If they are light, they will be very painful to wear and even harmful to the body under extreme conditions.

There are also some optional things to bring, such as trekking poles, flashlights, sun protection in summer, sunglasses and mosquito repellent. These can be determined according to individual circumstances. If you watch the sunrise early, you can rent down jackets, standard rooms or Yuncheng B&B in almost all places where you stay. The room is provided free of charge.

Finally, I want to say that what you bring is not only what you want to bring, but also what you want to take away, so it's all rubbish! To tell the truth, I have been to many places in recent years and really feel that domestic tourists are happy. Like the small country next door, the streets are particularly clean and there is no garbage. What's even more amazing is that there is no trash can. Everyone will take the garbage home and sort it.

Are domestic tourists unruly when they arrive? At such a high altitude of Huangshan Mountain, almost all the rest spots have garbage bins. As long as you see the sign below, you can throw garbage. Many cleaners have been picking up garbage.

Even if it is so convenient, there will still be tourists throwing rubbish at some strange places. If you throw it yourself, the cleaner may have to hang down the rope to pick it up. I was also shocked to see the climbers carrying six bags of plastic garbage.

When I was in Tiandufeng, I met a cleaner walking by the river.

Therefore, I also call on everyone to travel with less plastic packaging and take away the plastic waste generated. Make a modest contribution to environmental protection! Be a "plastic guest".

How to arrange meals and accommodation in Huangshan?

Finally, talk about eating and living in Huangshan. Tangkou Town in Shannan is a prosperous town because of Huangshan Scenic Area. You can stay and eat before and after climbing the mountain. Because there are many businesses, it has always been healthy competition, and there is basically no cheating. You can also buy other materials needed to go up the mountain in town, which is very convenient.

Accommodation on the mountain is very particular, which can be roughly divided into three types. One is a high and low bed room, which is generally unlocked and cannot store valuables. It only has a place to sleep and charge. I lived in White Goose Villa for 17 years, and it was also very popular for 100 nights. The attitude at the front desk is very bad. Late guests may even make floors in the lobby, and there is no place to charge.

The other is the traditional standard room, which has never been used. Seven or eight hundred dollars a night, holidays rose to several thousand dollars. The decoration style is very old, but the facilities inside are not cost-effective. I prefer to live in the bedroom. Accommodation is also the most criticized issue before coming to Huangshan this time.

This time, because there is one more choice for accommodation, Beihai at the top of the mountain opened the only homestay in Yun Qi! BB is a very popular concept in recent years. As can be seen from the variety "Dear Inn", BB is a city full of temperature and experience. In other words, BB is also the idea that people are the masters of their own affairs. If you just mingle with tourists, it will be very comfortable to stay.

Yun Qi is located in the North Sea of Huangshan Mountain. You can get off the ropeway from White Goose New Station and watch the scenery while walking. It takes about half an hour to get there. On the second day of living here, you can go to the monkey in the back to watch the sunrise. Compared with the popular cool breeze, there are fewer tourists and more things to see, and you can always find something satisfactory.

When you enter Yun Qi, the first thing you see is a stone tablet that says "blessed land". Careful friends should be able to see that the word "blessed land" is actually a typo? It's a little too far. In fact, there is nothing wrong with literati's works, right? A little more is "a little more luck". Just like when we paste the word "fu" in the New Year, we always like to turn it upside down. If you visit many ancient villages in Huizhou, you will see many meaningful words. So this stone tablet represents Huizhou culture well. People's owners told me that a stone tablet was found on this land, but its age is unknown.

BB All the rooms are a small courtyard, which is very private. You can sit in a daze on the bench in the yard in your spare time. There is more space in the room than I want. After all, every inch of land on Huangshan Mountain is precious. It is valuable to build more rooms without compressing space.

The hardware in the room is of high standard, including smart toilet lid, boss Bluetooth stereo, coffee machine, massager and so on. Drinks in the refrigerator can also be enjoyed. Doing so under the premise of difficult transportation of materials at the top of the mountain completely subverts the Huangshan Mountain in my memory.

What surprised me even more was that climbing the mountain was very tiring, but Yun Qi provided delicious afternoon tea for the guests. Being able to enjoy such a pleasant time at the top of the mountain is something I have never experienced in Huangshan three times. To tell you in secret, I ate three "crab shell" cookies in Huangshan!

Similarly, after dinner, the housekeeper of the hotel will inform the hotel what activities will be held that day, and it will be a tea party when it arrives. Have a cup of local Qimen black tea in Huangshan. It's also great to be able to chat with people and tourists from all over the world.

Dinner is also eaten in BB, which is a famous fresh ingredient in Huangshan Mountain. I still remember when I first came here ten years ago, I saw the price of 90 yuan in Tianhai, and only the university canteen-level package was at a loss. Thanksgiving Huangshan is getting better and better.

Breakfast in Yun Qi is reserved, including coffee, milk, coarse grains, porridge and steamed bread. It is suggested to get up early, watch the sunrise and come back to E.

I really like Yun Qi, and I think this high-level homestay is worthy of the world-class Huangshan Mountain. Some people may say, what kind of residential building can't be built as long as the funds are in place? It's not that simple! Because the land on the top of the mountain is not allowed to be expanded and started at will.

Yun Qi itself is the dawn cabin of Beihai Hotel. Like other hotels, it was originally an economical residence. Last year, the upgraded Alpine boutique B&B did not expand its floor space, but still adopted bamboo and wood structure, maintaining its original characteristics and greatly improving the convenience of sound insulation and moisture prevention.

To put it bluntly, mountain accommodation is also a dual choice. Not everyone wants to sleep in bunk beds, and not everyone will spend money to choose a homestay. Besides Yun Qi, Beihai also has Beihai Hotel, Shilin Hotel and White Goose Villa. I think living in Beihai is a good choice.

The Paiyun Building near the West Sea is quiet, but it is too secluded. Because there are too many people in Guangmingding Villa near Guangmingding and baiyun hotel who get up early to watch the sunrise, I personally feel that the cost performance is not high.

Yuping Building, because it is too short and too far away from Guangmingding and the surrounding core scenic spots, has never been within my consideration. Above, except Yun Qi, which is a boutique hotel, most other hotels have standard rooms and double rooms. Let's choose according to our own needs!

For dinner, we ate at Yun Qi's restaurant. I feel that the packages in other places I have contacted before are not very cost-effective. I haven't tried it myself, and I feel a little worse than myself. I used to bring rice porridge and biscuits, which made me feel uncomfortable.

I have also tasted fast food such as corn and tea eggs on the mountain. 17 years, I brought steamed bread and braised pork at the foot of the mountain, which made me feel greedy! However, braised pork can only be stored for a short time in summer and is not suitable for overnight tourists.

This time, I found that many tourists brought self-heating rice or self-heating hot pot. This kind of self-heating rice has become popular in travel recently. There is nothing wrong with filling your stomach, except that it tastes heavy, but remember to dispose of the garbage you produce.
