What's the check-in procedure?

Legal analysis: Ordinary adults can check in, as long as they show their ID cards and other relevant documents and register their identity, they can go through the hotel check-in procedures without other formalities.

Legal basis: Article 7 of "China Tourist Hotel Industry Code" should require guests to show valid certificates when going through the check-in procedures, and truthfully register in accordance with relevant state regulations.
