Exit the Capital Hotel and walk west along Dongjiaomin Lane to Tiananmen Square, which is more than a kilometer away.

Go east to Taiji Factory, then turn north and keep walking. After crossing Chang'an Street, you will find Wangfujing, which is also about one kilometer away.

There is basically no need to take a car in these two places, and there are no suitable cars. The ride is only one stop at most.

Go out of the National Center for the Performing Arts and cross the road (Chang'an Street). Walk a few hundred meters east to Tiananmen Square and to the north is the Forbidden City.

Take Line S2 at Beijing North Railway Station, and get off at Xizhimen of Metro Line 2.

The Lama Temple and Guizijian Guijie Street are both on Line 5. Get off at Beixinqiao or Yonghegong Station. From Capital Hotel, take Line 2 and reverse at Chongwenmen Station.
