When the total weight of liquefied petroleum gas cylinders exceeds 100 kg (equivalent to 2 bottles of 50 kg or 7 bottles of 15 kg), a special cylinder room shall be set up.

When the total weight of stored gas cylinders is less than 420kg, the gas cylinder room can be set in a single-story dedicated room adjacent to gas-using buildings (except residential buildings, important public buildings and high-rise civil buildings and podium buildings), and the dedicated room should comply with relevant design specifications; When the total weight of stored gas cylinders is more than 420kg, or when forced gasification of gas cylinders is adopted, the gas cylinder room shall be set in an independent single-story building, and the distance from other civil buildings shall not be less than 10m. In addition, it is forbidden to have open flames and pile up inflammable and explosive articles in the room where gas cylinders are stored.
