(Travel Notes) Walking in Ethiopia with Ethiopian VIP Travel Agency
Below, we share a travel note of our customer Zuo Haotian:
When I was walking in Ethiopia with Ethiopian VIP Travel Agency.
Last October, I took part in a bird-watching tour in Ethiopia with seven people. Counting this time, this is my third trip to Ethiopia. My name is Melkam, and I am a very responsible person. She can speak English, German and Amharic, and she is dressed formally for the first time. In terms of time, Melkam and the driver Rem are more punctual among the locals I have ever met.
This is a photo I took of Melkam during my break.
First, after Avash and his party started their Ethiopian tour, we first filmed in the direction of Awash National Park in the southeast.
The scenery in Awash National Park is like this most of the time.
There are many interesting creatures in this park, which should be a national park in the world where it is easy to see five kinds of tuna at the same time. Of course, only here, when you are lucky enough, can you collect these rare species in other parts of the world. Although I didn't see so many species on this trip, I also saw the grey-necked bustard, Buddhist monks, hornbills, sunbirds and several bees and tigers at close range. This park is very big. If you want to see more species, it is recommended to spend a day. Just after the rainy season, patches of green grass have just sprouted and produced small yellow flowers, which is a different experience.
The encounter between the author and the grey-necked bustard
There is a local hotel in the center of the park with a waterfall beside it, which is a good place to visit the park. There is a local food, Ingila roast beef. Be sure to try. In the season when there is little water, the rocks under the waterfall will lie on the Nile crocodile to sunbathe; After the rainy season, groups of weavers will build nests with grass. In short, there are some species differences in different seasons.
Near the center of the park, the hotel has a two-story building, next to which is a waterfall formed by a river flowing through the park. The crocodile lies at the bottom of the waterfall.
Second, the unknown road ahead. We went to Addis Ababa in the south to see the source of the Blue Nile, the Simijan Mountains and the churches carved in rocks. (Ethiopia will have a population distribution, roughly divided into three or four big tribes. Although it is a unified country, the opinions of tribes will be different. So at that time, we discussed some situations and decided that there was no problem before going north. Of course, the cooperative Ethiopian VIP travel agency also has enough strength to continue to arrange our trip in the north. ) We flew to Bakhdar, a small town in the north, and when we landed, we felt that the history here was thicker than that in the south. In the17th century or earlier, the development of religion left many amazing remains for Ethiopia. Lake Tana next to Bashir is the largest lake in Ethiopia. There will be many waterfowl and forest birds singing by the lake in the morning. In some seasons, this lake is also a good time for weavers to nest and mate. Then we went to Gunder Castle. /kloc-in the 0 th and 7 th centuries, Ethiopian emperor fasilides moved the capital here; From17th century to19th century, it was the religious and artistic center of Ethiopia. Now it is a distribution center for agricultural products. In this city, there are famous Fassiladas castles and palaces. Although it was later destroyed by war, there are still several well-preserved castles for viewing. There is a huge porch, next to which stands a lion cage, which seems to have a roaring lion. I don't know when history stopped at that moment; Old friend, the prosperity of the past has gradually faded, and only the castle that still stands is still telling the story of the past.
The world cultural heritage signs at the gate of the castle have been honed by years, and some of them have been damaged.
Bakhdar is not only the turning point of Gondel, but also the turning point of the source of the Blue Nile. When the rainy season comes, you have the opportunity to see the rainbow formed by the river falling from a crack nearly 55 meters high at the Blue Nile Waterfall.
It is said that along this river, you will gradually merge into the White Nile, go to Egypt and merge into the Mediterranean Sea.
3. Mount Semen National Park is listed as a United Nations natural and cultural heritage. I think the most important thing is that there is a unique animal gelada on the mountain. Every morning, groups of baboons climb from the cliff to the top of the mountain to bask in the sun, eat grass and catch lice. Very lively. The baboons here live quite comfortably. At least when you are near, their attitude towards you is to ignore you. Recently, they can reach a distance of two or three meters. But why do they choose to climb out of the cliff every morning? After some investigation, it is obvious that the natural enemies of leopards force them to choose steep places to hide. What makes this baboon special is not only its tail, but also the outstanding hairstyle and red mark of the male leader.
A little baboon just climbed to the top of the cliff and looked into the distant canyon.
In this alpine meadow, there are abundant aquatic plants. In addition to geladas, there are African bustards, vultures and other birds that fly from time to time. Sometimes, you can meet ravens with thick mouths or African thrushes on the roadside.
The hotel on the top of Thermon Mountain was awakened in the morning light. When you leave Mount Simon, you can see the rape fields under the blue sky and white clouds.
Fourth, the true colors of heroes have been baptized by history. After leaving Mount Thurman, we went to the historic church carved from the rock of La Libera. It is said that in the12nd century, when the seventh Ethiopian king La Libera was born, a swarm of bees flew around his swaddling clothes, but failed to drive him away. Libra's mother realized that this was a symbol of her son's future kingship, so she named her son Libra, meaning that bees declared kingship. His ruling brother Habai had a bad heart to poison him, and La Libera couldn't sleep for three days. In the dream, God directed him to make a pilgrimage to Jerusalem. He was told to build a new city of Jerusalem in Ethiopia and was asked to build a church with a whole rock. Therefore, according to the Oracle, the Liberation Organization used 5,000 people on the rocky plateau at an altitude of 2,600 meters in northern Ethiopia. It took 30 years to carve 1 1 rock churches, which are called the Statue of Liberty. Since then, the Statue of Liberty has become a sacred place for Ethiopians. Up to now, every Christmas from 65438 to10.7 in Ethiopia, believers will gather here.

Among them, Bet Giyorgis, with Noah's Ark as the carrier, has pigeons carved with branches from the land at the bottom and at the bottom, and the windows on the left and right sides of the church are closed. The whole church is complete and compact. There are many pilgrims coming and going, but to go to church, you have to walk barefoot. There is a cave outside the church, which contains the bodies of some people who practiced at the beginning. Of course, some caves can provide temporary rest points for people from afar.
Believers who come to pray.
In the afternoon, we came to a valley where there was a more literary restaurant. Of course, there are also birds of prey flying here, such as vultures, white-backed vultures, African tuna and so on. The updraft brought by the mountain wind makes these birds of prey soar in the valley, but it seems to soar in front of them. 5. Return to Addis Ababa. Perhaps in China, you are familiar with the prosperity of Beishangguang, but the Ethiopian capital is quite different. Here, I often go to Guangzhou Hotel to eat Chinese food. In addition, I have to mention the skeleton of Lucy girl in their national museum, as well as various coffee shops on the street, especially Yega coffee.
Ye, a coffee shop that only sells coffee but not beans, stood in the coffee shop and took a sip of coffee. At that time, I saw the skeleton of the sawtooth shark in an antique shop, so I posed and took a photo with a POS machine.
Thanks to Ethiopia VIP Travel Agency for bringing us a good travel experience, and hope to have the opportunity to cooperate in the future. After all, the Lip diskpopulation tribe in the south and the active volcano in the north have never been there! Traveling in Africa is an adventure, both hard and rewarding.
