Where is the North Country? Is the North Country Prairie fun?
Sometimes it is not that easy to just go on a trip. Without a thorough plan, I would feel very insecure, so this trip to the North has been planned for a long time. Yes, when I finally embarked on this journey, I was both excited and excited. After all, this is my first self-driving trip. Everything will be a good start. The scenery of the Northland is waiting for me to come to you.
About the route
Date1: Departure from Shenyang - Ulanhot (1st city) - Aershan City (2nd city)
Date2: Aershan Mountain National Geological Forest Park (1 mountain)
Date3: China-Mongolia border gate (1st gate) - Hulun Lake (1 Tan Lake) - Arrival in Manzhouli (3rd city)
Date4: Matryoshka Square - China-Russia border gate (2nd gate) - return trip
About the itinerary:
This trip is by self-driving, and it takes a long time In 4 days, we passed through Tongliao, Siping, Songyuan, Baicheng, Xing'an League, Aershan, New Barhu Right Banner, New Barhu Left Banner, and Manzhouli, covering a round trip of more than 3,100 kilometers. Date1: Shenyang - Ulanhot - Aershan
I woke up early and went out at around 5 o'clock. The sun was shining~
I arrived in Ulanhot on time around 12 noon, and then went straight to "Mongolia" "Du Fengqing Hotel" is a Mongolian-style restaurant recommended online. It has a high rating on "Dianping" and the food did not disappoint me.
This is the first time I have eaten such delicious grilled lamb chops, charred on the outside and tender on the inside. Now that I think about it, my mouth is watering~~
The expensive shredded milk tofu is a bit disappointing , I don’t know if it’s because I’m not used to it, or what, but the taste is average.
The large mutton skewers are 12 yuan each. The mutton taste is very pure, high quality and low price.
Milk tea is salty and has a strong taste, so I can’t get used to it at first. After a big mouthful of mutton, I take a sip of milk tea to relieve my tiredness.
Genghis Khan Temple
After lunch, we went to the Genghis Khan Temple, a tourist attraction in Ulanhot Station. It is very close to Mengdu Fengqing Hotel, only separated by a road.
I didn’t enter the temple, but took some photos in the small square in front of the temple, and then went to Nen’ao Lake__. There is a maze surrounded by low walls. After walking around in the maze for a while, I walked out after three times, five times and two times five times.
The total time spent eating and shopping at this stop is about 3 hours.
Aershan
Set off for Aershan, with the goal of arriving at the hotel in Aershan before dark.
On the road in Aershan, you can see endless scenery, because at the end of May, when you go north, the temperature is more than 20 degrees, and the grass is just green, like a miraculous landscape painting of nature, with elegant beauty.
The flocks of sheep and horses grazing leisurely on the road were so comfortable and leisurely that I suddenly felt envious of them after leaving the noisy city made of reinforced concrete.
You will encounter Aobao after driving for a few kilometers. The bustling Aobao has a dome made of cement; it is simply a hill made of stones. Aobao can be found in most places where people live. Its prosperity also reflects the living standards of the residents. I guess this is probably a kind of belief, just like the statue of Guan Gong in some Han people's homes. In some festivals, people gather around Aobao to hold Naadam. Unfortunately, we did not catch up with the festival and did not see Naadam (a festival where Mongolians celebrate the harvest).
On the way to Aershan, we encountered "Ecological Park - White Birch Forest - Bailang Town - Panshan Road - Hot Spring Town - Irshi Town"
The ecological park I encountered
The birch forest reminded me of the song of the hackberry tree
When I came to Bailang Town, the origin of the place name was not a white wolf, but a white wolf. It evolved from the Mongolian "Bailiga", which means "rich".
Night fell, and our car began to climb the last mountain we must pass on our way to Aershan City. Aershan City is the smallest city in China and is known as the Switzerland of China. Because of its hot springs and national geological forest park, it has been promoted from a small village into a micro-city focusing on tourism.
The city is very clean, the roads are very wide, there are many hot spring hotels throughout the city, and all the buildings are very new. It looks like a city that was built the day after tomorrow.
The place where I live is Ishi (the name is very nice, it originally means inn in Mongolian), a small town about 20 minutes’ drive from Aershan City, which is close to the next day’s itinerary - Aershan. Mountain National Forest Park is even closer. As expected, the area is vast and sparsely populated. Even the average room size of the Hanting Hotel is larger than that of other cities. Date2: Aershan National Forest Park
When entering the Aershan area, the most profound thing I felt was the awareness of fire prevention. You need to apply for a fire prevention certificate to go to the forest park. The fire prevention certificate is free of charge. The most powerful government agency in Aershan is the Forestry Bureau, where people's livelihood lies.
After half an hour’s drive, I arrived at the Aershan National Geological Forest Park. It is more than 1,200 meters above sea level. It was very cold. Looking at the friends in the circle of friends showing off their short skirts on the beach, I felt freezing. trembling. There are shops at the entrance of the park that sell specialties, as well as rent military coats and thick cotton coats. I found that scarves and clothing rentals are the best business, as they are really a rigid demand of tourists. I joined a group for aunties and bought a big shawl at a bargain price, and finally stopped being cold.
Normally it takes 2 days to visit the park, so we picked a few iconic attractions
Tuofengling Tianchi
Grand Canyon
Dujuan Lake
After returning from Aershan, we went to another scenic spot - Wuli Spring, which is named after the spring water and it is 2.5 kilometers away from Aershan. Date3: Hulun Lake, the border gate of China and Mongolia, arrives in Manzhouli
Early in the morning on the third day, we left Irshi and went to Rose Peak first.
To go to the national gate of Mongolia, you still need to apply for a fire prevention certificate, fire prevention certificate, fire prevention certificate, fire prevention certificate. You actually have to go to Irsch Town to apply for a fire prevention certificate. My heart goes cold. It should have taken 0.5 hours. The journey became 1.5 hours.
The China-Mongolia Gate is temporarily closed to the public. You can only overlook it from a distance. Although you communicated with the soldiers, it was still to no avail. So save your ticket money and take a distant view as a souvenir.
We encountered a folk village on the road, so we simply stopped the car to visit. There were horse riding, archery, national costumes for taking photos, yurt tents, and there should be a bonfire party in the evening. The tourists should be organized by a company Group travel.
Hulun Lake
Going to Hulun Lake, the car drove for a while and the weather became sunny again. I continued to admire the endless grassland
Hulun Lake It is the largest lake in Inner Mongolia, the fifth largest freshwater lake in China, and the largest lake in Northeast China. We chose the southwest shore of Hulun Lake because there is a scenic spot there - Genghis Khan's horse-tethering post.
Seeing Manzhouli from a distance, when the blue sky and white clouds were above our heads, dark clouds were already pressing above the Matryoshka Square. When our car arrived at the Matryoshka Square, I ran out of the car with joy and hugged the matryoshka. When we were in Wa Square, the crackling raindrops hit my face, and I ran to the car in despair. I didn’t know when the rain would stop, so we decided to go to the booked hotel to settle down.
A Russian-style Western restaurant with rave reviews online - Lubri Western Restaurant, I walked through the streets and alleys and finally found it. I found it was crowded and there were many diners waiting in line. In order to eat, I worked hard and waited for half an hour. The taste of the dishes is very good, with an exotic taste~ I feel that the wait was not in vain.
After finishing the delicacies such as sago single cheese cake, queen salad, sea salt fruit sea, Russian beetroot soup, Russian charcoal grilled sausages, and grilled pork chops, I felt that they were not too delicious.
The third day ended with a delicious meal. Date 4: Matryoshka Doll Square—Gateway to the Sino-Russian border—return
On the fourth day, early in the morning, I visited the Matryoshka Doll Square. The cartoon shapes of the various matryoshka dolls were very cute, and the girl’s heart was filled with excitement. I took beautiful photos as a souvenir. .
Then go to the Sino-Russian Gate. At this gate, you can buy tickets to visit (group purchase price is 63 yuan). Our country's national gate has evolved from the first generation to the fifth generation. It is magnificent and magnificent, adding a lot of pride. Under the country gate, there is a railway to Russia.
After visiting the country gate, we went to eat at the "Mongolian Grassland Family" recommended by netizens.
Roasted Lamb Leg
Fried Jinsha Milk Skin
Mutton Noodles
After eating, it’s time to start the return trip.
Starting from Manzhouli at 11:30, passing through Hulunbuir-Qiqihar-Daqing-Songyuan-Shuangliao, arriving home in Shenyang at 3:30 the next morning.
1. Will you be photographed while running all the way? Is there a speed limit?
There must be. Only if you can’t think of it, there is nothing you can’t encounter. The speed limit on the expressway is 70, and our car is like a wild horse that is about to run away but is forced to walk on a catwalk~
2. How can we live in such a hurry? Is it like sleeping in the open air?
Whether the route is well designed depends on whether it meets the physiological needs mentioned by Maslow, such as delicious food, soft bed to sleep on, and everything is fine.
3. The biggest fear when driving is to follow the navigation and go the wrong way. What should you do?
The lesser of two evils, make your own judgment.
4. Do you have time to see the scenery on the road?
There are flowers in spring, leaves in autumn, cool breeze in summer and snow in winter. If there is nothing to worry about, it is a good time in the world. It's good to let yourself go.
5. Is this trip interesting?
It is. A journey is like a story, with ups and downs at the climax and ups and downs at the ordinary points. Most of the time I spent admiring the vast expanse of the grassland. The occasional beautiful sights, unexpected obstacles, small blessings, and small surprises constituted each small plot in the story.
6. What is the biggest feeling of this trip?
The scope of activities of this trip is mainly Inner Mongolia. The deepest feelings are environmental protection, fire prevention, and the heartfelt support of the people of Inner Mongolia. The awe of nature. Because of the desertification caused by overgrazing, the original model cannot allow the sustainable development of the homes that depend on it for survival. Because of folk customs, landforms, nature and other characteristics, the tourism industry, wind power industry, forestry, etc. developed according to local conditions have allowed them to regain their livelihood. Because I have lost before, I know how to be in awe.
7. What elements should a good trip have?
I think it should include: overall time design, reasonable route arrangement, food and accommodation nodes, and routes that meet physiological needs. The storyline, the preferences of the target group, the local characteristic landscape, the interactive folk custom projects with a sense of substitution, etc.
The meaning of travel is probably because the passage of time and the transfer of space allow you to have a larger pattern and mind to deal with things in life and work, to reduce complexity into simplicity, to turn conflicts into friendship, and to turn decay into friendship. For magic.
The online ticket price of Forest Park is 130 yuan/person, which can be visited for 2 days; the bus ticket is 105 yuan/person, and the bus ticket is a must.
