Famous scenic spots in Kenting

Hengchun is located on the west side of the national park, on the road leading to the cat's nose, covering an area of 137 hectares. It used to be a low-lying area, and water accumulated every rainy season in previous years. Although it was planned to build a reservoir during the Japanese occupation, it never came true. In 37 years after the war (1948), special funds were raised to build the dragon bombs as reservoirs, which was an important water conservancy facility on the peninsula. The pond water flows northward through the nearby streams from the artificial drain, flows into the Baoli River through Sigou and Tougou, and goes out to sea from Sheliao for irrigation channels. Every autumn and winter, it becomes a place for migratory birds to spend the winter in groups, and it is an excellent bird-watching place.

There is a nature center next to Longluan Lake, and you can enjoy the whole lake through the glass wall. The observation station of the center provides many telescopes and two sets of broadcast monitoring systems, and there are four bird display areas, which is a well-equipped bird observation station. The Longluantan Nature Center is also a place where rare plants are artificially restored, and native trees are artificially cultivated in the form of an ecological park. The ecological park covers an area of about 1.5 hectares and is divided into 9 areas, namely, rare plants area, bird attracting plants area, butterfly attracting plants area, grassland shrub plants area, flower viewing plants area, mountain plants area, coastal forest plants area, coral reef plants area and hedge plants area. This area is rich in biological resources and highly diversified in plant species, which is a natural habitat for ecological protection and biological groups. Baisha Bay is located on the west coast of the peninsula, northwest of Maotoutou. Also known as "White Sands". Baisha Bay is a coral reef coast. It used to be a small fishing port called Baisha Port. This area is unique, with a beach of 100 meters long and composed of pure white shell sand. Because few tourists come to visit, it still maintains a natural style. When playing with water here, be careful. There are three strong undercurrents here, which need special attention.

Going to the white sand beach in Kenting to relive the "Fantasy Drifting of Youth School" is believed to be an indispensable part of Kenting tourism. Here, Ang Lee has created a mysterious floating island, which is covered with grotesque trees and beautiful Mexican beaches. Nanrenshan Ecological Reserve is located in Nanren Village, Manzhou Township, east of the National Park. The highest altitude of the reserve is only 526 meters, but it is one of the few remaining low-altitude primitive tropical monsoon rainforests in Taiwan Province Province. At the same time, there are tropical, subtropical and temperate plants in Nanren Mountain. Due to the special monsoon and seasonal distribution of rainfall in the peninsula, there are more than 2,200 kinds of plants here. For example, "kohlrabi" is as white as camellia, which is a common plant on the windward steep slope where the northeast monsoon prevails.

"Nanren Lake" is located in a natural valley, and only one trail can reach it, with a one-way trip of 4.3 kilometers. The ecological landscape along the way is rich, and "Papilio" and "Huang Die" can often be seen. Nanren Lake used to be a paddy field. Due to the blockage of the east outlet of paddy field, the accumulated water is increasing day by day, forming a wide lake. Before this vast water area, there was a small pool, which was the real "Nanren Ancient Lake", but it was easily overlooked because of its small area. The "yellow-gray crab" visible by the lake is a freshwater crab species unique to Taiwan Province Province, belonging to the land crab, and it is the only crab species that does not need to go to the seaside to breed.

Nanrenshan is an ecological protection zone, which is only for academic research and no visitors are allowed to enter. You must apply to the Kenting National Park Management Office in advance, and you must do a good job of pre-departure education before going to Nanren Lake. You will not accept the application for admission during the two-month closing period every year.

Longkeng Natural Ecological Reserve

Longkeng is located at the southeast end of the peninsula, at the junction of the Pacific Ocean and bashi channel. This area is a continuous group of coral reefs, and it is a raised high coral reef with an area of 6 1.67 hectares. Due to the influence of gravity and waves, the coral limestone on the platform cliff gradually decomposes and collapses downward, so Longkeng combines excellent topographical landscapes such as skirt reef, cliff collapse, narrow valley and pit.

Longkeng has a special ecology, complex coastal plants and many special and rare coastal plants. For example, "Vernonia Binhai" can only be seen in Longkeng in Taiwan Province except Lan Yu; Pittosporum with only half a petal, the blood of dragon's paw with thorns, and Morinda citrifolia floating from Tahiti are all unique coastal plants in Longkeng. Unfortunately, in 200 1 year, the whole coral reef was polluted by crude oil because of the oil pollution incident of the cargo ship Armas. Although most of them have been cleared, the whole ecology of Longkeng has been completely destroyed, and the wreckage of cargo ships scattered on the seabed still makes it impossible for corals to recover smoothly. The annual "Kending Spring Wave Music Festival" in Taiwan Province Province is scheduled to hold a music carnival around Tomb-Sweeping Day in early April every year.

Friendly Dog International Music held the first Kending Chunlang Music Festival in April 2006, which successfully united nearly 100 outstanding singers, DJs and musicians. The three-day event attracted nearly 40,000 people, which opened the first large-scale outdoor music event for Taiwan Province Province, injected new strength and vitality into Taiwanese music activities with a more popular and popular music culture, and fully demonstrated the enthusiasm and vitality of this land. Kenting Street Kenting Street is a night market located on Kenting Road, which is the busiest shopping street in the national park. It is also a rare business district and night market located in national parks in the world. In addition, restaurants and hotels on the main streets, water locomotives and nuclear power plants near the beach have caused light damage, pollution and rising water temperature, which is not helpful for the ecological maintenance of national parks. From the viewpoint of ecological conservation, the existence of Kenting Street is not conducive to the ecological conservation of national parks. Only these unfavorable factors precede the establishment of national parks.

At the beginning of the establishment of the national park, the merchants on Kenting Road only stopped at the scale of the night market selling famous products. 1986 Halley's Comet approached the Earth, and the media reported that Kenting was the best viewing place in Taiwan Province Province, which immediately attracted a large number of tourists. Since then, the number of tourists has increased rapidly, which has promoted the prosperity of surrounding businesses.

The range of Kenting Street is probably between Kenting Dawan (Xiadu Beach Hotel) and Kenting Xiaowan Beach. There are many bars, dance halls and food stalls open at night along the road. From day to night, the streets are full of swimmers in beach pants and bikinis and domestic and foreign tourists. The neon lights on the streets set off the street view very lively, which is quite like a holiday resort in Nanyang. In addition to serving food in the evening, there are also hot performances such as pole dancing in the nightclub. The behavior of a pole dancer wandering around the guests in a three-point swimsuit was called harmful by the media, but it was not banned. There are nearly 30 personalized souvenir shops in Kenting Street, and there are many shops and stalls for ornaments and souvenirs, all of which have local characteristics. Kenting Street is also the most densely populated place of local hotels in Kenting, such as Xiadu Beach Hotel, Xize Hotel, and the Salvation Army Kenting Youth Activity Center, all of which are famous scenic spots. Since A.D. 1995, the outdoor large-scale music and art festival initiated by two foreigners, Jimmy and Wade, has been the earliest and oldest music festival in Taiwan Province Province. It is held every spring break (around April 5), attracting a large number of people. The original intention is to refer to the singing spirit of Woodstock in the United States in the 1970s, to provide a stage for creative music groups or individuals, and to promote the spirit of young people's love for peace and freedom. After more than ten years' efforts, it has brought huge sightseeing business opportunities to Kenting area and promoted the local prosperity and development. Because the activity is so well-known, in order to set the record straight, in 2007, the Construction Department of the Ministry of Interior of Taiwan Province Province officially announced that all outdoor music activities such as "Spring Scream" during the spring break in April were officially named "Outdoor Music Activities in the Spring Music Season of Kenting National Park".

The venue ranges from 1995 Dream Kenting to the seaside of Kenting Street and Liu Fu Villa. In 2007, it was officially opened in the Eluanbi Lighthouse Park. There is only one authentic Spring Shout Music Festival, and all performances are always maintained before midnight.
