First, there are historical records and evidence. Since the Ming and Qing Dynasties, Chizhou local chronicles, Guichi county chronicles, Xinghua village chronicles, and the provincial local chronicles "Jiangnan Tongzhi" officially compiled in the Qing Dynasty have all made positive descriptions of this. These ancient local chronicles can "make up for the lack of history and historical reference." In the 20th year of Jiajing in Ming Dynasty (1545), Chizhou government records: "Xinghua Village is in the west of the city (according to: refers to Chizhou City), and Du Mu's poem" Where is the restaurant? The shepherd boy refers to Xinghua Village ",and the old Huanggong wine was abandoned, and the well was enclosed in a private field, engraved with" Huanggong Guangrunquan ".The Qing version of Xinghua Village also said:" My pool, Xinghua Village, was reclaimed in the past and written in the Tang Dynasty. Sages love traveling and are good at singing. What you see in the rain is recorded in the chronicle. Some pedestrians walk along the main road, look at the entrance of the village, and beg for busk on the hanging curtains ... ". In the ninth year of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty, Guichi County Records also included a poem by Cao Tianyou, a poet of the Song Dynasty, who visited Xinghua Village in Guichi. The poem said: "I watched the Spring Festival for a long time, and today I went out to Guoxing. Apricot flowers fly for rain, and smoke flutes smell far away. Where can I find old traces? The east wind is warm and sudden. The wine is still drunk, leaning on the moon. " In the Song Dynasty, the apricot blossom village in Guichi still had the grand occasion of "apricot blossom flying rain", which shows that this village has a long history of development. After the Tang and Song Dynasties, from the Ming Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty, there were many remains in Xinghua Village, and state (county) officials built pavilions and workshops here one after another. The more famous ones are Xinghua Village Square, Shepherd's Guidance, Xinghua Pavilion, Huanggong Jiugeng and so on. Up to now, the ancient well in Xinghua Village still exists.
2. Consistent with Du Mu's chronology, during the six years from the second year of Tang Huichang (842) to the first year of Dazhong, Du Mu successively served as a secretariat in Huangzhou (Macheng, Hubei), Chizhou (Guichi, Anhui) and Zhou Mu (Jiande, Zhejiang), with Chizhou serving the longest time. From the fourth year of Huichang (844) to the sixth year of Huichang (846), he spent three years and two springs in Chizhou. Therefore, there are many descriptions of Du Mu's activities in Chizhou in the local chronicles of Ming and Qing Dynasties, and the collected poems about his travel, farewell, meeting friends and handling government affairs in Chizhou are far more than those in other places.
Third, it is consistent with the climate and scenery in the southeast. Guichi is close to the south bank of the Yangtze River, with a warm, humid and rainy climate. Before and after Tomb-Sweeping Day, it was raining, which was the scene described in the first sentence of Tomb-Sweeping Day. The climate in Jinzhong, Shanxi, is like "fine spring rain" and "wild smoke in harmony" as mentioned by Liu and Wen, but because of its inland climate, there are often scenes of "Riverside Scene on Qingming Festival" and "No Rain in Grain Rain", and "Sunny after rain" is even more rare. There is a saying in another poem by Du Mu, Poem of Spring in the South of the Yangtze River: "Thousands of miles of Ti Ying are green and red, and the water town is full of wine flags". Compared with his poems, the poem Qingming is almost in the same strain in artistic conception and style, both of which are about the spring scenery in the south of the Yangtze River.
Regarding the dispute between Fenyang and Guichi Xinghua Village, the new edition of Cihai can be analyzed by researchers. Cihai (1979 edition) Page 1257 "Xinghua Village" Full text: Xinghua Village, (1) located in the west of Guichi County, Anhui Province, is famous for its wine making. History of Chizhou by Du Mu, a poet in the Tang Dynasty, contained in Jiangnan Tongzhi: "It rains a lot during the Qingming Festival, and pedestrians on the road want to break their souls; Excuse me, where is the restaurant? That's what the shepherd boy means when he points to Xinghua Village. There are attractions such as Duhu Lake and Southeast Lake nearby. (2) The eastern part of Fenyang County in Shanxi Province, according to legend, has been famous for producing Fenjiu since the Southern and Northern Dynasties, and enjoys the reputation of "Ganquan excellent wine".
