Dingzhou Yali pear, a specialty of Dingzhou City, Hebei Province, is a symbolic product of China's national geography.

Dingzhou Yali pear tree has vigorous vitality, dark grayish brown bark, yellow-brown annual branches, reddish-brown perennial branches and low branch formation rate. The leaves are broadly ovoid, the apex is gradually pointed or pointed, the base is round or broadly round, the fruit is beautiful in appearance, and the pear stalk protrudes like a duck head.

Producers within the producing area of Dingzhou Yali pear can apply to Dingzhou Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision for the use of "Special Marks for Geographical Indications", which will be announced after being audited by Hebei Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision and reported to AQSIQ for approval. Dingzhou Yali pear testing institutions are selected by Hebei Provincial Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision among testing institutions that meet the qualification requirements.
