What is the salinity and water temperature of the king crab?

The water temperature of the king crab cultured in the hotel is kept below 10 degree in summer, around 15 degree in winter, and the salinity is 24-26 degrees. Change the water once a month or so.

King crab, also known as stone crab or rock crab, is a crustacean of stone crab. It is not a real crab, but mainly distributed in cold sea areas. Named after its huge size, it is known as the "king of crabs".

It is not the same kind of crab as king crab (giant paramecium crab), so please don't confuse it. Because of its huge size and delicious meat, many species are widely caught as food, the most common of which is Kamchatka stone crab.

Preservation method of king crab:

Fresh king crabs can survive for about 24 hours in a humid and cold environment. If properly covered with ice, frozen king crabs can be stored for about 1 year, fresh king crabs for about a week, thawed crabs for about 3 days, frozen crabs should be stored at-18 degrees, and fresh crabs should be stored at 0- 1 degrees.
