What are the classification and standards of pallets?

There are many kinds of trays. At present, the common pallets at home and abroad can be roughly divided into seven categories: flat pallet, column pallet, box pallet, plastic cushion pallet, skateboard pallet, wheeled pallet and special pallet.

1, flat pallet: flat pallet, also known as general pallet, is the most used pallet, which can be divided into the following three ways.

① According to the cargo support table, there are four types: single-sided type, single-sided use type, double-sided use type and airfoil type.

(2) According to the fork road of forklift, it can be divided into three types: one-way fork, two-way fork and four-way fork.

(3) According to the pallet materials, it can be divided into wooden pallets, steel pallets, plastic pallets, plywood pallets, cardboard pallets and aluminum alloy pallets.

A. Wooden pallet: Wooden pallet is a widely used flat pallet with convenient manufacture and maintenance and light weight.

B steel pallet: it is a flat pallet welded by special-shaped steel such as angle steel. Like wooden pallets, there are many forms such as fork-in, single-sided and double-sided use. The steel pallet has high strength, reliable structure, less damage and deformation, and less maintenance workload.

C. Plastic flat pallet: Plastic pallet is light, stable, beautiful, good in integrity, nail-free, non-stinging, tasteless, non-toxic, acid-resistant, alkali-resistant, corrosion-resistant, easy to clean and disinfect, non-decaying, non-combustion-supporting, no electrostatic spark, recyclable, and its service life is 5-7 times that of wooden pallet. It is a three-dimensional food, aquatic products, medicine and chemical industry.

D. Plywood flat pallet: It is a flat pallet made of plywood countertops, which is light in weight but poor in bearing capacity and durability.

E. Paper pallet: Paper pallet has the advantages of no pests, environmental protection, low price and strong bearing capacity, and is becoming the focus of attention at present. Common paper pallets include kraft paper pallets, honeycomb paper pallets, corrugated paper pallets and sliding pallets (high quality kraft paper).

2. Tray:

Tray is developed on the basis of flat tray, and the four legs of the tray have fixed or detachable steel columns. There are connecting beams between some columns, which make them into a frame shape. This kind of pallet can prevent the goods from slipping during transportation and loading and unloading.

3, box tray:

The basic structure of box pallet is a box with plates, grids and mesh baffles and a lower plane along the four sides of the pallet. Some boxes have a top plate, some have no top plate, and there are three kinds of box plates: fixed, folding and detachable. The box-type pallet has strong protective ability, which can effectively prevent stacking from collapsing and goods from being damaged; The shipping range is large, and it can ship all kinds of irregular and unstable articles.

4, plastic cushion tray:

The plastic cushion tray is pressed with plastic polyethylene to form cushion material, and the cushion material is fixed with double-sided tape and corrugated box. Protected by plastic cushion, it can prevent the influence of ground moisture on the infiltration in the box.

5, skateboard tray:

The skateboard tray has no fork and is simply bent from a piece of material, which is convenient for push-pull operation. According to the different number of folded wings, it can be divided into single folded airfoil slideway, double folded airfoil slideway, three folded airfoil slideway and four folded airfoil slideway.

6. Wheeled pallet:

Wheeled pallet is a pallet with small wheels at the lower part of vertical pallet and box pallet. This kind of tray has the advantages of general column tray and box tray, and can move a short distance with wheels, so it has strong portability. Wheels can be used for rolling loading and unloading up and down, which is also conducive to the pallet moving position after being put into the car and cabin, and can also be used as a work car.

7, special tray:

This kind of tray is specially designed and manufactured according to the special requirements of products, such as frozen tray, aviation tray, flat glass tray, special tray for oil drums, tray shelf tray, tire tray and so on.

(1) Freezing tray: Freezing tray is essentially a technical device that combines the environment and use requirements of special products. It eliminates the dependence on frozen trucks, makes it possible to deliver perishable products in time, and is suitable for handling fresh food, flowers, chemical products, medical care and frozen food.

(2) Empty pallets: Generally, aluminum alloy is used for air cargo or luggage consignment pallets. In order to adapt to the restrictions of various aircraft cargo holds and doors, they are generally made into flat pallets, and the goods on the pallets are fixed with net covers.

③ Flat glass tray: also known as flat glass tray. This tray can support and fix the flat glass. During transportation, the flat glass is placed along the transportation direction to maintain the stability of the pallet load.

④ Special tray for oil drums: special-shaped flat tray for transporting standard oil drums. The tray is double-sided, with corrugated surfaces or side baffles on both sides to stabilize the oil drum, and the oil drum is placed flat on the tray. Because of the corrugated groove or baffle, the oil drum will not roll and shift, and can be stacked for many times.

⑤ Special pallet for tires: The main problem of tire storage and transportation is that it is afraid of being pressed and squeezed, and it is very light, so it can't give full play to the load capacity of containers when placed in containers. Pallets can solve the above problems.
