Will Linwu build a high-speed rail?

As of August, 2022, the newly confirmed route of Yongqing-Guangzhou high-speed railway is that Yongqing-Guangzhou high-speed railway passes through Linwu and sets up a station in Linwu. Guangqing high-speed railway is mainly a high-speed railway connecting Guangzhou, Qingyuan and Yongzhou in Hunan.

The Guangzhou-Qingdao high-speed railway departs from Yongzhou Station in Hunan Province and finally arrives at Guangzhou North Station. At the same time, it is combined with Hunan high-speed railway and extends from Yongzhou Station to Guangzhou Station. The whole line is 394 kilometers long.

It is reported that during the Tenth Five-Year Plan period, there are 28 county and township highways that need to be connected, upgraded and planned, including Yongzhou 12 and166.965km, Qingyuan-3 and 5.2km, Hezhou 13 and 34.

Through consultation among the three cities, it is determined that in 2022, the three cities will jointly implement seven cross-regional highway connection projects in ethnic minority areas, including four in Jianghua County, two in Jiangyong County and Lanshan County 1, with a total mileage of 23.5 kilometers and a total investment of16.62 million yuan.

The project of Guangqing high-speed railway was built between 2022 and 2026 and has been under planning. How long it will take depends on the official news.
