Gorem National Park, a natural wonder of the world.

Gorem National Park is located in central Turkey. Capadocia Stone Forest in the park is famous for its spectacular volcanic rocks, ancient cave churches and caves.

Known as the trump card of Turkey's natural scenery, it is a tourism resource that Turks are proud of. Lava erupted in ancient times constitutes a volcanic plateau with peculiar terrain. The plateau area is covered with numerous grotesque stalagmites, gravel and caves, some of which are like towers and some are like mushrooms, with different shapes.

Due to the accumulation of volcanic ash, lava and gravel after volcanic eruption, a platform 300 meters above the adjacent ground was formed. After long-term extrusion, volcanic ash finally becomes a gray-white soft rock called travertine, and the lava covering it hardens into black basalt. Running water, floods and frost split these rocks, and the softer parts were eroded away, leaving a strange moon-like landform. It is composed of conical, pyramidal and spire-shaped rock masses, and is called "fairy chimney".
