Mainly distributed in towns and villages such as Shihu, Nanji, Xuji, Huangying and Yixing in Lianshui County. Lianshui County is named after the Lian River. According to the Records of Huai 'an Prefecture in Qianlong, in the fifth year of Shaoxi in Song Guangzong (1 194), the Yellow River decided to flood the old dike in Wu Yang, while the Liangshan River was injected eastward, and it was divided into two factions, one from the North Qinghe River and the other from the South Qinghe River. The county seat belongs to the alluvial plain of the Yellow River, and the terrain is inclined from southwest to northeast. Low-lying areas gradually formed the unique sea salt heavy saline-alkali land in Lianshui. The soil salt content is above 7‰, and the PH value is above 10. Radish growing in this soil is small and thin, with little moisture and purple skin, also called "dark purple". Although this radish is not a top-grade raw food, it is a treasure after being dried. Lianshui dried radish is rich in minerals and trace elements.
