How to petition? Remember to tell the Buddha your name, where you live, what you want, and where you will fulfill your promise after you finish. Most believers kowtow and make wishes when they arrive at the main hall. I really don't know what the bodhisattva wants, and I don't know which great god to ask. How should the other party respond? The rule is: burn incense first, then bow down. After worshipping, put your hands together, circle the body pagoda of Tibetan Bodhisattva three times clockwise, and make a wish. When you worship, your palms are up and your palms are down to worship your ancestors.

Conventional incense also has etiquette. Stand outside the temple and worship Buddha three times, then worship Buddha four times clockwise, and then insert incense into the incense burner with your left hand. Jiuhua Mountain is not allowed to burn high incense. Like this uncle, holding a handful of incense is generally not recommended. Key temples provide three sticks of incense for free, but many of them are useless.

The oldest temple on the mountain is Huacheng Temple. Perhaps only the stone carvings of later dynasties can witness the glory of the pioneering ancestral temple. One of them is the inscription of Li Deyu, a famous figure in the Tang Dynasty. He was once rejected by political parties and often came to the temple to study, which promoted the local atmosphere of good writing.

Probably the body of the infinite longevity Buddha in Yongzhou, Guangxi was killed by a group of unscrupulous monks and made into a body to attract incense. The story also mentions Jiuhuashan, saying that the body of Jiuhuashan died of natural causes.

The Bodhisattva of Earth Water Guanyin first worships Earth Water Guanyin for the sake of peace, and then goes to the main hall to worship Guanyin's body, saying that Guanyin died here.

The 33-storey Tibetan icon Buddha stands tall among the mountains and becomes the core landmark of Jiuhua Mountain. I didn't understand why the Buddha statue was built so high before. Of all religions, Buddhism likes to build large statues best. I have understood a little since I visited Yungang Grottoes and other Buddha statues. Look at those towering giant buddhas, squinting at all beings. There is a strong sense of majesty and mystery in the fragrance. When you can't help but look up at them and feel awe of being taught, you will feel that this is the proper posture of the Buddha.

There are 99 temples in Jiuhua Mountain, with more than 6,000 Buddha statues and gods, and more than 2 meters above 100. Almost every time I step into a key temple, I have to look up. But in the hearts of people who believe in Buddhism, there is a Buddha in their hearts. She is neither tall nor tall.

How to choose accommodation in Jiuhuashan

Many people are used to living in the mountains, which is close to the temple, but it is actually more convenient to live in the flower table of the tourist center at the foot of the mountain or take the luggage to do the high-speed rail. Jiuhua Mountain must eat stinky mandarin fish, tremella, dried bamboo shoots and roasted meat.

You can eat whichever restaurant is crowded. Stone fish is also good, but the bones are too dense to eat. Tremella, a low-grade plant that can strengthen the body, feels that the high price is all hype and the taste is nothing special. Roast meat with dried bamboo shoots is a common dish, which is listed simply because it is the most common dish for northerners to go to the south.

Jiuhua Mountain Tickets and Transportation

Tickets 160 yuan, including flower terrace (actually free), rooftop and core temple scenic spot. The cable car is extra. 160 yuan round trip. You can go to the flower stand to see the scenery, and the wooden plank road is worth seeing. You don't have to go if you just worship Buddha. The staff in the visitor center are particularly enthusiastic. After all, a five-star scenic spot can get a satisfactory answer without making a good strategy in advance.

The nearest high-speed train to the scenic spot is Chizhou Station, and the passenger station is on the right side of Chizhou Station. Special bus 1 hour to Jiuhuashan Tourist Center.
