Ankang was called Jinzhou in ancient times. An important north-south transition zone, it borders Qinling Mountains in the north, Bashan Mountain in the south, Xi'an in the north, Three Gorges and Zhangjiajie famous national tourist areas in the south, Hubei Taoist holy land Wudang Mountain and Shennongjia Nature Reserve in the east, Hanzhong Three Kingdoms ruins in the west, and the Han River from the west. It runs eastward and is an important part of the Qinba Mountains and a part of the north subtropical monsoon region. It is also the region with the richest water and heat resources in Shaanxi Province.
The long history here has given birth to a splendid culture. Historical relics are scattered throughout the territory, including more than 650 ancient ruins, ancient cave temples, cliff carvings and modern cultural relics, including Taoism, Buddhism, and Christianity. Temples, temples, temples, churches and other Catholic churches are concentrated in Ankang City, reflecting the glory of our ancestors.
Ankang City governs 10 counties and districts including Hanbin District, Hanyin, Shiquan, Ningshan, ***, Langao, Pingli, Zhenping, Xunyang and Baihe. The simple folk customs reproduce the customs of Qin and Chu. Natural and cultural landscapes such as high gorges and flat lakes, Linhai Waterfalls, alpine meadows, cave wonders, cultural monuments, and volcanic ruins combine the essence of the scenery from the north and the south and the richness of the Qin and Chu cultures. A number of scenic spots and attractions featuring the natural scenery and cultural landscape of the Qinba, Han, and Han Rivers have been formed, such as Yinghu Lake, Nangong Mountain, Xiangxi Cave, Qianjiaping, Sandaomen, Pingheliang, Shentian, and Leigutai. In fact, whether you are hiking, climbing, exploring, rafting on the Lan River, or boating on Yinghu Lake, you will feel that there is scenery everywhere, and there is no scenery that is not intoxicating.

Question 6: Where is the fun in Ankang? The fun place in Ankang is of course Xiangxi Cave. Yinghu recommends you a plan: take the 4775 train to Ankang at 12:56 noon on the first day. The arrival time is 16:48. The hard seat fare is 36 Yuan.
After arriving in Ankang, take the bus to the city, find a place to stay and settle down (recommended: Postal Hotel (a bit expensive 190/night), Samsung Hotel (just near the bus station, price 90/night) (it’s convenient to take a car the next morning and the environment is not bad). We go to Ankang city for some snacks at night. We recommend Malatang and the food stalls along the Han River.
The Malatang there is different from the one in Xi'an. It's a street stall. It's very clean. There are skewered vegetables in a big basket. You choose it yourself. After you choose it, someone will make it for you. It's a bit like eating vegetables! Authentic Sichuan flavor, very spicy!
Then we had dinner and walked around the Han River in the evening, and then confirmed where to take the bus to Yinghu the next day. I forgot the location. It seemed to be next to *** in Ankang City. Find the local place. Just ask! Prepare something to eat before going to Yinghu Lake, because it is very natural there and there is basically no human development, so there is very little food for sale!
We took a bus early the next morning. The fare was 3 yuan/person and it took about 40 minutes to get to the lake! The bus driver will secretly take you into the scenic spot, so don't say anything, because the people in the scenic spot will treat you as an outsider and you can pretend not to buy a ticket. If you talk, your secret will be exposed!
Then when you go to the lake, you must take a special tour boat. You cannot take the double-decker ferry with the destination written on it! This kind of boat always sails past and then comes back at some point! So be sure to find a dedicated tour boat! You can enjoy the scenery of the lake and mountains, and you can also eat and play mahjong on the boat!
A boat ride costs about 100 yuan for a day. It is recommended that you share the boat with others! Last time we fought with 5 other people, the two of us paid 40 yuan!
There are 3 scenic spots on the lake. The first one is a bird island. The ticket is 10 yuan and it is worth a visit. The other two are farmhouses and hotels. There is no need to go there, there is nothing, and you still have to pay for the tickets!
Let’s return after playing until around 3 pm. Take the 4768 train at 5 pm and arrive in Xi’an at around 10 pm. Two days is just enough! If you go rafting or something, you won’t have enough time, and this season is not the season for rafting either! . Liyu Mountain is also good, but it’s a bit tiring to climb up the mountain
Question 7: Is there any fun place in Ankang that I can recommend? There’s nothing fun. It’s not too late to go to Hanzhong and go for a walk
