Catharanthus roseus; garden balsam

First, the difference between leaves.

Changchun mosaic is membranous, oval, 3 to 4 cm long and 1.5 to 2.5 cm wide. The top of the leaf is round and short. Leaf blade base is wide wedge-shaped or wedge-shaped, and petiole will gradually narrow at the base.

Impatiens have alternate leaves, which are lanceolate, oblanceolate or narrowly elliptic, about 4 to12cm long and 1.5 to 3cm wide. The base is wedge-shaped with serrated edges.

Second, the difference between flowers

The flowers of Catharanthus roseus are axillary or terminal umbels, with 2 or 3 flowers, 5 deeply lobed calyxes, saucer-shaped corolla, red, lavender and white.

Impatiens are solitary or clustered in leaf axils, with white, purple or pink flowers, single or double petals.
