Brief introduction of capsule hotel

Capsule hotel is a very high-density hotel accommodation facility, which is very common in Japan. The space available for guests is limited to a small space of about 2m x 1m x 1.25, which is made of injection-molded plastic or fiberglass and only enough for sleeping. Television and other electronic entertainment equipment are usually installed in the space, and curtains are installed at the entrance of the guest unit to maintain the privacy of the guests, but it is difficult to completely isolate the sound and need to enjoy the bathroom and shower facilities. These units will be stacked together, and guests' luggage needs to be stored in lockers far away from the units. Capsule hotels also have restaurants or vending machines for the convenience of guests.

There is also an upgraded capsule hotel in China-with a very fashionable name-space capsule hotel. Except for the public facilities, the sleeping space is basically unchanged. Ordinary TV sets have been replaced by LCD TV and computer integrated machine, in-cabin safe and multiple fire-fighting facilities, which are safe, comfortable, leisure and convenient, and are being accepted by more and more people.

The biggest advantage of capsule hotel (also called space capsule hotel in China) is its convenience and reasonable price. Generally, the rent per person per night is around 4,000 to 5,000 yen, which is cheaper than regular hotels. In China, this kind of capsule hotel costs only 5~60 yuan per person per night, which is a typical low-cost and high-end consumption.
