Jinsheng Hotel Guilin

One: Guilin and the urban area.

Generally speaking, the best tourist season in Guilin is April-10 every year, which is the so-called tourist peak season (the overall tourist price will not be much higher than usual, or there is no difference). May Day, National Day and Spring Festival holidays are the peak of tourism, and the scenic spots are crowded, so the roads in the city are very crowded.

As a famous tourist city, Guilin is too small compared with other cities, with a population of only 700,000. The main streets are Zhongshan Road and Jiefang Road, and the most prosperous is Zhongshan Middle Road, which takes only 30 minutes to walk from one end to the other. After 7 pm, half the streets in Zhongshan Middle Road will become pedestrian streets, which makes people feel very lively.

(1) transportation

1. Guilin Liangjiang International Airport is 30 kilometers away from the urban area. There is an airport bus to the city, and the destination is the Civil Aviation Building (about 30 minutes from the airport to the city). You can choose to get off near the railway station. As long as there is a flight to Guilin, there will be an airport bus to downtown, no matter how late it is, the cost alone will be 25 yuan. There is a bus to the airport every 30 minutes in the Civil Aviation Building. Please leave Guilin for the airport two hours in advance. The cost of taking a taxi from downtown to the airport is around 80 yuan, and sometimes it is enough to get out of the airport in 60 yuan. There is a strange phenomenon in Guilin, that is, discounted air tickets are not easy to buy. Often the air tickets from other places to Guilin are very cheap, and Guilin's departure may not be so cheap. Perhaps Guilin is too small, and its consumption power is almost poor.

2. There are two railway passenger stations in Guilin: Guilin North Station (commonly known as North Station and Starting Station) and Guilin South Station (commonly known as guilin railway station or South Station). South Railway Station is the main passenger station at present, and the traffic in the urban area (Zhongshan South Road) is very convenient. North station is in the north of Guilin. According to the local people, it should be considered a suburb. The traffic is not very convenient. Only 18 and 99 can reach the city. If the train stops at North Station and South Station at the same time, you'd better get off at South Station. Please check the related contents of the website for relevant train information. There are few trains from Guilin, and most of them stop over. Sleepers heading north are generally difficult to buy at the window. It is very convenient to go to Liuzhou, Nanning and other cities in the region.

There are three bus stations in Guilin: Bus Terminal (Zhongshan South Road, the most important passenger station), Chengnan Bus Station and Beimen Bus Station (Zhongshan North Road, mainly heading for Xing 'an and Lingchuan). The buses in the area and most suburban buses start from the passenger station, and it takes about 10 minutes to go north from the South Railway Station (turn left at the station). Please refer to the website for details of bus timetable.

There are buses in all the scenic spots in Guilin. Please refer to the traffic information on the website for details.

The buses in Guilin are basically empty. Get on 1.2 yuan, no change. Bus to the suburbs 1.5 yuan, such as No.3, please ask the driver or look at the stop sign before getting on. Air-conditioned car in 2 yuan, such as bus No.99.

It is possible that only Guilin in China has free buses (trains leaving at 8: 00- 17: 00 and 5), and the waiting time of free buses is longer than that of ordinary buses, and people should pay attention to their personal finances when riding, and thieves also ride for free.

The following are free buses:

5 1 Road-Depart from the East Ring Yard, pass the Flower and Bird Market, Arctic Square, Fengbei Road and Central Square to Guilin Railway Station.

Route 52 —— Depart from Donghuan Courtyard, pass Sanlidian Square on Long Yin Road, and arrive at Qixing Park.

Route 53-The bus company departs and goes to the Arctic Square via Huancheng West Road.

No.54 —— Depart from Guilin South Railway Station, pass through Shanghai Road, Anxin Community, Chuanshan Park and Sanlidian Square, and go to High-tech Zone.

No.55-Starting from Pingshan, passing through the South Ring Road and Jingpingshan Bridge to the vehicle management office.

Route 56-from Pingshan to Pingshan via Nanxi Park, Shanghai Overpass, Xiangjiang Hotel, Jiangjun Road and Bazhong Road.

No.57 Road-Starting from Xifeng Road, it passes through Education College, Children's Palace, Ximenqiao, Nanmenqiao, Xiangshan Park, jiefang bridge, Cross Street and Art Museum to Xifeng Road.

Route 58 —— Starting from Nanxi Mountain Park, passing Xiangshan Park, Qixing Park, Folk Park, Fubo Mountain Park, Diecai Mountain Park and Yushan Park to Ludi Park.

5. Taxi: Most taxi models in Guilin are Jetta and Santana.

Taxi consumption standard:

A All taxi fares are divided into two time periods: 6: 30-23:00 Beijing time during the day and 23: 00 at night-6:30 the next day.

B Take a taxi during the day, and the starting fee is 7 yuan. You can take a taxi for 2 kilometers (it feels a little less). If you take a taxi for more than 2 km but not more than 4 km, you will be charged at RMB 1.60 yuan/km (the unit of measurement is 100m), and if you take a taxi for more than 4 km, you will be charged at RMB 50 yuan/km. The general charging principle is starting fee plus pricing fee. For example, if you take a taxi for 2.5 kilometers, the charge standard is 7 yuan +0.5× 1.60=7.80 yuan, and if you take a taxi for 5.5 kilometers, the charge is 7 yuan+2×1.6+1.5× 2 =13.20 yuan.

C Take a taxi at night, and the pricing principle is the same as during the day, except that the starting fee is changed to 7.80 yuan, 2-4 km 1.80 yuan/km, and 4 km or more is 2.40 yuan/km.

(2) Sightseeing

1. Questions related to visiting Lijiang River:

Guilin-Yangshuo: Ticket 2 10 yuan (including Chinese food on board). There are two docks in Lijiang River: Mopanshan Wharf and Zhujiang Wharf (40 minutes' drive from downtown). Mopanshan Wharf is an internal guest wharf, and Zhujiang Wharf is a foreign guest wharf. It leaves at 9: 30 every morning, 10: 00, and arrives in Yangshuo around 14: 00 in the afternoon. On the morning of the same day, you can buy tickets at the dock (2 15 yuan/piece) by yourself, or you can entrust a website to buy tickets (2 15 yuan/piece). There are no buses and buses from downtown to the pier. If you buy your own ticket, you can only take a taxi to the pier (around 60 yuan) in the morning. Guilin's cruise ships go directly to Yangshuo (Di Yang-Xingping section in dry season), and you can't disembark or dock; There is no return boat from Yangshuo to Guilin (there may be one during the Golden Week). Only this kind of cruise ship on the Lijiang River is legally operated, and other ways are illegal, under the severe crackdown of the government. There are many ways to swim only in any section of water on the internet, so I won't explain them here.

One-day tour of Lijiang River shows two prices:

(1) The price of 345 yuan is the whole journey. The hotel will take you to the pier, swim the Lijiang River and then return to the hotel in Guilin. On the way back to Guilin, you will also visit several scenic spots, including Moon Mountain, Big Banyan Tree, Julongtan and Kistler Palace. Tickets for the above attractions have been included in 345 yuan.

(2) The midway fare is 245 yuan. I will pick you up at the hotel and board the plane at Lijiang Pier. Yangshuo is free to move after disembarking.

To be fair, tickets for many tourist attractions in Guilin are a bit expensive. The most famous "three mountains, two caves and one river" (Elephant Trunk Mountain, Fubo Mountain, Diecai Mountain, Qixingyan, reed flute cave and Lijiang River) are also newly developed. There are two rivers and four lakes worth seeing. Although it is an artificial landscape, it is not bad. Elephant trunk mountain is the city emblem of Guilin, and you can also go and see it.

Most scenic spots in the city are free for military personnel, and foreign student ID cards cannot enjoy preferential prices. Most parks are open to the public free of charge before 7 am, so you can use this time to enter the park. Don't think that there is no doorman at this time. If you go in with big bags and small bags, you still have to buy tickets. The more common it is, the better. Don't make people look like tourists. Just put the camera in your pocket and pretend to be a local person to exercise. (Don't be empty. If you are stopped and killed, you say you are local. Many Guilin locals speak Mandarin. Remember the name of the community before you go in, just in case.

(3) Accommodation

The hotel industry in Guilin is relatively developed. Generally speaking, hotel prices are divided into two price classes: average season and peak season. The peak season has three special periods, namely, May 1 the first three days to May 6, 1 October 5 1 to 1, and around the China Lunar New Year1week. In these three periods, the hotel price is usually calculated according to the store price or even beyond the store price. According to the regulations of Guilin municipal government, the hotel room price is allowed during the peak tourist season (specifically, May 1 around 15 days, 1 around 15 days, before and after the Spring Festival 15 days or when Guilin holds a national conference or other major festivals).

Most star-rated hotels already include room service charge, government price adjustment fund and tax, and some hotels also provide breakfast for free. Usually, the accommodation fee of Guilin Hotel is calculated by the day, and it is agreed to check out before 12 Beijing time. If it exceeds 12, check out before 18, and the hotel has the right to charge half a day's room rate; /kloc-If you check out after 0/8, you will be deemed to check in again on the same day, plus one day's accommodation fee.

Generally speaking, tourists go to the hotel front desk or call the hotel to ask about the price. The hotel will give a 6-8 discount on the retail price, and there will be almost no price reduction during the peak period of tourism. If you go through a local travel agency or travel booking website in Guilin, you can often get a lot of discounts (generally less than 50% off).

Near the transportation hub is a dead corner of a city, and Guilin is no exception. I advise you not to live near the railway station and bus station unless you want to catch the train, especially don't be greedy for petty gain. In these two places, there are often cases of bullying and slaughtering customers! The inner ring road with the diameter of Zhongshan Middle Road (Nanmenqiao-Pok Oi Hospital) is very suitable for travel and accommodation, and the main tourist attractions and business districts in Guilin are in this circle. As for the hotel prices of all grades, please refer to the hotel prices on the homepage of the website (which can be used as a reference for you to come to Guilin).

(4) Shopping (the landscape painting part was written by the moderator of the waterside osprey! )

Guilin landscape is one of the important materials of Chinese painting. China's painting techniques are mostly freehand brushwork, mainly expressing artistic conception. As a symbol of oriental art, Chinese painting, China calligraphy, seal cutting, ceramics, folk paper-cutting, silk products, costumes, paintings, etc. have become must-buy souvenirs when traveling to China.

Speaking of Chinese painting, let me briefly explain why China painters like Guilin landscape. China is influenced by Confucianism and Taoism, and people like to express their wishes with natural scenery-either aspirations, social impressions, worship and praise of nature, or yearning for life, which is often general or implicit. China Since the Tang Dynasty (AD 6 18 ~ 907), Guilin has been praised by China literati, which is related to the strong symbolic significance of Guilin landscape.

Guilin's landscape is not only beautiful in form and environment, but also the most oriental beauty-hazy beauty. Objectively speaking, it can stimulate the greatest aesthetic association of human beings. In China, there are three charming urban features, namely, Shanghai at night, Chongqing in fog and Guilin in rain. The biggest feature of Rain in Guilin is the hazy landscape pattern in the drizzle, which is consistent with the mentality of some so-called upright literati in China-intellectuals who believe or assume that the government is evil and are unwilling to serve and use government agencies. They pursue and advocate being immune to worldly disputes. Therefore, China people take black and white as the keynote, shade as the distance, and unique brushwork as a tool to inject the author's personal joys and sorrows into the seemingly random composition.

To Guilin, the most common tourist souvenir is China landscape painting. Because landscape painting has artistic characteristics besides the concept of tourist souvenirs, it is difficult to make commercial pricing for such souvenirs-her price is directly related to the author, artistic level, artistic value and the level of buyers' willingness to bid, as well as whether it is original or imitation.

In addition to landscape paintings, you can also meet tourist souvenirs in Guilin, such as Nuo masks (Nuo was a widely popular blessing activity in ancient China, aiming at eliminating the evil omen attached to the human body), Zhuang hydrangea, Miao Xiu, batik, Zhuang brocade, craft paper umbrellas and wood carvings. Except for craft woodcarving and brocade, the price of other souvenirs ranges from 10 yuan to 400 yuan/piece (depending on craft, material, packaging and plastic arts value). Zhuang brocade and craft woodcarving are difficult to specify because they are more doped with artistic elements.

There are all kinds of three treasures in Guilin, but they are not as good as before. If you eat by yourself, don't buy those so-called combination clothes and gift clothes to save trouble. The taste inside is so bad that it discredits the reputation of Guilin Sambo. In order to ensure the quality, it is best to buy it in a large supermarket. The price of local specialty shops all over the street may be cheaper than that of supermarkets, but who knows what's inside!

A Guilin Sanhua wine, produced by Guilin Sanhua Wine Co., Ltd., 18 yuan-100 Yuan. There are few fakes, so it's best to buy wine that is more than 10 years old. Porcelain, crystal and frosted bottle are not bad. The latest product, "Old Guilin", tastes very good, with the ratio of 39 degrees in 50 yuan and 52 degrees in 80 yuan.

B Guilin bean curd, the flower bridge produced by Guilin bean curd factory is the best, and the special spiced flavor is the best.

C Guilin Chili sauce, Huaqiao produced by Guilin sauce factory is the best.

Others include Shatian pomelo, Siraitia grosvenorii, horseshoe, ginkgo, persimmon, kumquat and so on. Needless to say, you can taste it before you buy it.

(5) Catering

The local dishes in Guilin are fragrant, spicy, fresh and sour. Restaurants are similar to hotels. According to their consumption environment and service level, they are divided into food stalls, low-grade hotels, middle-grade hotels and high-grade hotels. The price of dishes with the same ingredients and cooking methods in high-end restaurants may be 5 to 10 times that of food stalls. Of course, the hygiene guarantee, the comfort of consumption and the thoroughness of service of high-end hotels are higher than those of food stalls, but on the other hand, food stalls can taste the real local flavor. As far as consumption level is concerned, the specific price mainly depends on whether the raw materials are produced locally and whether the raw materials are in season. In 50 yuan, everyone can enjoy the local delicacies by spending 15 yuan per meal.

1 Guilin rice noodles have different names (tastes) because of different seasonings and side dishes, such as soup powder, marinated vegetable powder, beef brisket powder, hot and sour powder, horse meat rice noodles and so on. The rice noodles in suburban counties taste very different. Prices are 1.8 yuan ~ 2.0 yuan/100g, 2.5 yuan ~ 3.0 yuan/150g, and horse meat rice noodles are generally in 5 yuan/100g. The way for Guilin people to eat braised rice noodles is to mix them well and dry them first, and then drink bone soup slowly after eating them, so as to taste the full taste of rice noodles. At present, the famous local rice noodle shops in Guilin include Shengli Rice Noodle (Wayao), Shiji Rice Noodle (Jiefang West Road, opposite Smile Hall, open 24 hours, suitable for tourists) and Fu Lin Rice Noodle (Zhongshan North Road, Jiang 'an Road, etc. ) and Qiu Ling rice noodles. Rice noodle shops near railway stations and bus stations advise you not to try, not just bad. There are also some rice noodle shops that taste good. The way to choose is to see how many people are eating. If everyone eats out in sterilized bowls, it's worth waiting in line.

You can go to Zhengyang Pedestrian Street if you want to have a good taste. There are famous restaurants such as Chongshan Hotel, Jufulin and Zhengyang Tangcheng. If you want to eat, you can go to Sanli Store, a street opposite Guangxi Normal University, which is very lively at night. You can go wherever you want. Opposite Wangcheng Commercial Building on Jiefang East Road, there are Fu Guang Fish Head and Lingui Erxiao Mutton. One of the places where Guilin snacks are concentrated is the Guilin Mong Kok Food City next to the central square, and the Good Auntie Food Plaza on the fifth floor of Bagui Building in the central square (Smile Hall also has branches), all of which are cafeterias.

(6) Others

1 Bank There are many bank outlets in Guilin, so it is convenient to withdraw money by credit card. Banks supporting USW include Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, China Construction Bank, Bank of Communications, Agricultural Bank of China and Bank of China. The above-mentioned banks also have branches and 24-hour ATMs in Yangshuo. Except Yangshuo, only the Agricultural Bank of Guilin has branches. There are no commercial banks such as China Merchants Bank in Guilin, so it is best to hold the credit cards of the above four banks when going out.

2 Internet cafes There are many Internet cafes in Guilin, mainly concentrated in residential areas and commercial areas. They all use broadband Internet access, and the price is about 1.5 yuan -2 yuan per hour. Some Internet cafes need ID cards to surf the Internet.
