The history of the palace at sea

In Qingdao, when it comes to trestle, besides Huilan Pavilion, there is also the Palace at Sea. In Qingdao Zhanqiao Scenic Area, there is a building facing the Zhanqiao across the sea, and that is the Sea Palace. The Sea Palace is located at the junction of Xilingxia Road and Xilingxia Road, Shinan District, Qingdao, opposite Qingdao Customs. 1994 was built by Hongkong Good World Catering Group, Zhong Fang Group and Goldman Sachs with a construction area of 11000 square meters, with five floors in total. Specially designed and used for hotel catering. 1996 was completed and put into operation. It is a large-scale maritime dining, entertainment and leisure place built according to the standards of five-star hotels. In 2002, due to poor management, the Maritime Palace was closed and later abandoned. In 2008, the Sea Palace was acquired by Shandong Hongsheng Investment Co., Ltd. for 70 million yuan. The palace at sea is still closed. Although it has been closed, the Sea Palace is still a landmark building in Qingdao.
