Ye Zhun

Ye Zhun, male, was born in Foshan in 1924. He is the son of Wing Chun master Yip Man and his mother, Teo Wing-shing. After Yip's death in 1972, his son Yip Zhunhe inherited his father's business and devoted himself to promoting Wing Chun overseas. Ye Chun has interned at the Hong Kong Wing Chun Sports Association, Shatin Town Hall, City University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and Foshan Institute of Science and Technology.

Ye Zheng

Ye was born in Foshan, Guangdong in 1936. He is the second son of Wing Chun master Yip Man.

At that time, Foshan Town’s industry and commerce had developed, and Hankou, Jingde and Zhuxian were the four major ancient towns in China. Foshan Mulberry Garden, whose real name is Ye, comes from a wealthy and scholarly family in Foshan. In 1943, Master Yip studied Wing Chun with Master Yip Man in Foshan until 1949 when Master Yip Man left Foshan for Hong Kong. Ye Zhengda continued to complete his studies in China. It was not until February 1962 that I came to Hong Kong to do the recount with Master Ip Man, and I lived with him until his death in December 1972.
