(Intern reporter Peng Jing) Yesterday, the reporter learned from the Municipal Development and Reform Commission that Fangshan District attracted social investment of 4.8 billion yuan to build a 24-kilometer urban railway from the World Park to Liangxiang. The project will start next year and be completed in 2009. It will only take 20 minutes from the World Park to Liangxiang by subway.

The subway to Fangshan starts from Suzhuang Street Station in Liangxiang, passes through Yang Liang Town, crosses Yongding River, reaches the World Park, and ends at Guogongzhuang Station of Metro Line 9, where you can transfer to the same platform.

Fangshan line is 24 kilometers long, all of which are elevated lines. The design level is that the train runs every two and a half minutes at a speed of about 90 kilometers per hour. There are a total of stations 10 on the whole line, which are divided into three types: overhead three-storey side stations, overhead two-storey side stations and transfer stations. All of them are elevated stations, 6.5 meters above the ground, and the platform length is 100 meters. It is reported that Fangshan District adopts a government-led and market-oriented operation mode, which is jointly built by Beijing Investment and Development Corporation, Beijing Infrastructure Investment Co., Ltd. and Anpu Investment Co., Ltd. After the project is completed, the distance between Fangshan and the urban area will be shortened.
