I. Basic information

The Department of Film and Television Arts, established in 2002, mainly cultivates multimedia art design and production, art design-related talents with a certain professional foundation, with majors covering modern media art such as words, images, sound, video, animation, performance, etc. There are 17 classes, 504 students, 38 faculty members (including 32 teachers and 6 employees) and 7 art majors, respectively. Since its establishment in 2002, * * * has trained more than 3,000 students (including current students).

At present, the Department of Film and Television Arts has seven art majors, namely: film and television animation, advertising design and production, environmental art design, digital media art design, character image design, recording technology and art, drama and film performance, etc. Among them, the majors of film and television animation, advertising design and production, environmental art design, digital media art design and character image design are art unified strokes, recording technology and art are music unified strokes, and film and television performance majors are performance unified strokes.

The Department of Broadcast Hosting has a long history and a solid teaching foundation. It is the teaching and research unit with the longest running time, the largest scale and the strongest strength in Anhui Province to train broadcast hosts, flight attendants and other specialized talents.

1960 Anhui intermediate broadcasting school was established to conduct broadcasting business training for the province's radio and television system. 1974 was recognized as a secondary specialized school, and 1976- 1983 held 22 short-term radio training courses in the whole province. 1984, the school was renamed Anhui Radio and Television School, and the broadcasting specialty was opened; 1990, technical secondary school students with two-year schooling at the starting point of senior high school formally entered the school. In 2002, the school was upgraded to Anhui Radio, Film and Television Vocational and Technical College, and the broadcasting major was renamed as Hosting and Broadcasting, which enrolled higher vocational students for three years. In 2006, the broadcasting host department was established. In 2007, a new flight attendant major was added to the Department of Broadcasting Hosting.
