Huaqiangbei is also crowded, but the security is okay. If you want to buy something and don’t want it to be too expensive, I suggest you go to the foreign trade market behind Huaqiangbei Maoye Department Store. The items inside are okay and the prices are okay. If you want to buy high-end things, I suggest you go to Maoye Department Store in Huaqiangbei (there is also a Maoye Department Store in the east gate). However, the things there are very expensive. If you want to go and have plenty of time, I suggest you go to it. Go when there is a sale. Shenzhen has these two large shopping locations.

Buses from Buji East Street to Dongmen: 379, 366 (to Sungang Village-->Transfer to 212), 322 (to Sungang Village-->Transfer to 212)
