The feeling of staying in a North Korean hotel

In 20 12, our company trained salesmen and stayed at Qibaoshan Hotel, which is the only four-star business hotel invested by North Korea overseas and located in Shenyang South Market.

It's quite novel to stay in a star-rated hotel for the first time. When I checked into the hotel, I didn't know it was a hotel invested by North Korea. The appearance of the hotel is very ordinary. After entering the lobby, I saw the receptionist wearing traditional Korean costumes and thought it was a Korean hotel.

The room company has arranged it, just go to the front desk to register. I came to the room on the second floor with my room card. The waiter is cleaning the room. It's almost done. The waiter covered the quilt with a distinctive Korean pattern. I chatted with the waiter, who said that the guest had just checked out and asked me to wait for a while. I said it doesn't matter. I asked the waiter, is this the Korean hotel? The waiter said it was wholly owned by North Korea. I was quite surprised at the time. I first heard about hotels in North Korea. After a while, the waiter cleaned the room. The room is very small, with two beds, bathroom, shower and air conditioning. What impressed me was that the quilt was particularly white and covered with a square towel with Korean characteristics. There are both Korean news and CNN news on TV. Free coffee and tea are provided in the room. I drink coffee, which is delicious. I think it's called blue mountain coffee.

The next morning, the hotel provided a free breakfast buffet, which was very rich, including steamed buns, jiaozi, rice and steamed bread. There are seven or eight kinds of porridge, more than ten kinds of hot dishes with side dishes, and all kinds of drinks and coffee can be tasted casually. I really feel like I can't eat any more. I usually eat less breakfast, only jiaozi, porridge and side dishes. I'm sorry I haven't tasted so many dishes.

After breakfast, the company trained all morning. At noon, the company arranged authentic Korean food in the hotel. The waiters in the restaurant are all Korean girls, about 20 years old, who speak Korean to each other and can't speak Chinese. Lunch is everyone's barbecue+seaweed soup+rice. Let's have a barbecue first, one for each person, about100g, which looks half the size of a western steak. There is a kelp and a big clam in the seaweed soup. Everyone looked and smiled at each other. One is not used to eating like this, and the other is that there is a little less food. Some naughty students also make fun of the North Korean waiter who serves food and the waiter's food. The waiter was not angry. He could hear what we said and smiled naughtily. A table 10 people, the barbecue didn't come at the same time. The director of the intermediate company said that two people would eat one first, and everyone ate it. The barbecue hasn't been served yet, and they have all finished eating.

In the afternoon, the training continued. After the training, the dinner company arranged to continue eating in the hotel restaurant, this time it was Chinese food. The difference is that there is a Korean song and dance performance in the evening, and we enjoy the song and dance performance of Korean girls while eating. Korean girls who sing and dance are beautiful, tall and generous. They are wearing Korean national costumes and singing and dancing on the stage. She sings well, has a loud voice and dances beautifully. Singing Chinese songs from time to time is really versatile. From here, we can also feel that North Korea is a nation that can sing and dance.

I was deeply impressed by this training and felt particularly good. The dribs and drabs in the hotel have been in my mind for a long time. Later, I came to Shenyang again and went to see Qibaoshan Hotel. Now it is not Qibaoshan Hotel, but another hotel. The old North Korea Hotel only stays in my mind.
