Donglin Academy is located at 867 Jiefang East Road. The college has two doors. One is the south entrance of the alley, which is the gate of the academy. The other is the small gate of Tianchengmei Culture and Art Museum on Jiefang East Road. These two entrances are inconspicuous and often receive feedback from tourists and can't find the gate. Travel tips

Donglin Academy was founded in the first year of the Northern Song Dynasty, namely1111. This is a place of Neo-Confucian Cheng Hao in the north.

Through the beautifully carved stone archway in the green space, through the flagpole stone with the courtyard flag, through the small bridge on the Chi Pan, and then to the middle school teaching building. From south to north, visit Lindong Jingshe, main entrance of Donglin Academy, Li Zetang, Yiyongtang, main hall, party member Confucius Temple, and three temples commemorating Ouyang Dongfeng, Zeng Ying and Lin Zai who were persecuted by eunuchs for speaking for the Party. One of the most famous couplets, "The sound of wind and rain, the sound of reading, the thoughts of everything in the world", was inscribed by writer Liao Mosha on 1982.

Then visit West Road from north to south. You can also take a walk in the east-west corridor and look at the inscriptions in the Ming and Qing Dynasties.

Finally, when we come to Donglu Road, we will see Gao Panlong's nephew Gao Shitai, who was the owner of Donglin Academy in the early Qing Dynasty. The Lindong Gonggong Temple in the east commemorates those who helped the academy, while Shi Yuzhuai is in the north. Further east, Daonan Temple is an important building on the East Road. At the end of the Ming Dynasty, eunuchs destroyed Donglin Academy and Daonan Temple survived. The temple is dedicated to Shi Yang, the founder of the Academy, and his disciples. Zheng Xin Pavilion in the south is also very interesting. Plaques such as "Nine Classics and One List" and "Six Subjects and Three Explanations" are hung on the top of the pavilion, showing Wuxi's brilliant achievements on the road of imperial examination. The easternmost part of the whole academy is * * * and the river. Locals often fish on the other side of the river. There is an Amin dynasty-style pier in Henan called Guan Temple.
