In February, 2002, a 25-minute one-episode CG animation "The Voice of the Star" appeared quietly in Japan. Then it caused quite a stir in the Japanese industry-needless to say, the beautiful and sad artistic conception and elegant and dazzling visual effects. What is even more surprising is that apart from the soundtrack and seiyuu, there is only one producer of the whole film-Makoto Shinkai. And one of his computers.

Before starting the whole article, I have to mention Falcom, which is dubbed the talent training school.

Ys2 Forever's OP animation should be fresh in the memory of Falcom players. Gorgeous 2D animation effects combined with almost perfect rhythm give people a strong sense of shock. This is one of Makoto Shinkai's representative works during his five years in F Club.

In the early summer of 2000, Makoto Shinkai began to make his personal animation "The Voice of the Stars". However, due to the busy work, Mingxing's voice was once stagnant. In May of 20001,Makoto Shinkai submitted his resignation to Falcom. After that, the production of the Voice of the Star was on the right track, which was completed in June 5438 +2002 10, and lasted for 7 months.

In addition, Makoto Shinkai also participated in the animation of Minori Games Club's games "Bitter Fool" (200 1+0) and "Breath of the Wind" (2002).

The creative idea of individuality but not publicity and profound creative strength make Xinhai's animation style stand out from the crowd, but it is peaceful and close. The seemingly trivial setting of scene objects reveals the ingenious arrangement of the author everywhere, and the extensive use of light adds a bit of aura to the harmony of the picture.
