1, school history

The school was founded in 1958 as Yanliang No.1 Aviation Workers' Technical School of the Third Ministry of Machinery Industry, and was renamed as No.3 Technical School of Aviation Engineering Department of the Air Force in 1979. 1985 the school was transformed into a full-time secondary specialized school, and 1994 it was renamed Air Force Xi 'an Aviation Engineering School. In 200 1 year, it was handed over to Shaanxi Province by the Air Force and upgraded to a higher vocational college, named xi 'an Aviation Vocational and Technical College.

2. The nature of the school

Xi 'an Aviation Vocational and Technical College is a full-time public general higher vocational college. It is the second batch of modern apprenticeship pilot units of the Ministry of Education, and the project institution of "Ten Million Exchange Program for Joint Training of High-end Skilled and Applied Talents" of the Ministry of Education. It was identified by the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Education as the "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan" construction unit for the integration of production and education, and was selected as the construction unit of high-quality colleges in Shaanxi Province and the construction unit of first-class vocational colleges.
