Xichang West Station, located in Xichang City, Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province, is a railway station under the jurisdiction of China Railway Chengdu Bureau Group Co., Ltd. and a station on the chengdu-kunming railway. On February 2, 20021year, Xichang west station officially started construction and is expected to open to traffic at the end of 20021year. On June 17, the concrete main structure of the side station building of Xichang West Station was successfully capped. As of August, 20 18, Xichang West Station has a planned station building area of15000m2 and a platform scale of 4 10 line, which is an elevated station with a three-story frame structure. The construction of Xichang West Station will further promote the construction of a modern international central city in Xichang Panxi area and lay a solid foundation for integration into the development of the twin-city economic circle in Chengdu-Chongqing area.
