Is Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village fun?

Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village is fun!

Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village is located at the foot of Leigong Mountain in the northeast of Leishan County, Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture, Guizhou Province, 36 kilometers away from the county seat and 35 kilometers away from Kaili, the state capital of Qiandongnan Prefecture.

Miao Village is the largest Miao Village in China and even in the world, which is connected by more than a dozen natural villages built by mountains. Xijiang is an open-air museum, which preserves the cultural integrity of Miao's "primitive ecology", displays the epic of Miao's development and becomes a stand for watching and studying Miao's traditional culture.

The stockade is located in the valley, surrounded by mountains. The Baishui River, which originated in Leigongping, winds through the village. The Xijiang Miao Village is divided into two by the river, and the wooden buildings with hanging feet are stacked on top of each other. From both sides of the river, depending on the mountain situation, it spreads upward, and the continuous red walls shine in the sunshine. In front of and behind the house, bamboo forests are dotted, and the top of the mountain is covered with maple leaves.

Miao village buildings are mostly wooden diaojiao buildings, all made of maple, which spread to both sides according to the mountain trend. The dark red maple wooden wall is golden in the sunset. If you come here in autumn, you can see the huge maple leaves in front of and behind the house, and the harvest scenery is really beautiful.

In Miao village, you can enjoy a dinner with a unique Miao flavor, during which you can receive a toast from Miao girls flying songs, and watch the lights of thousands of households in Miao village on the balcony railing (called "beauty leaning" by Miao family) in the diaojiao building. You can also watch the bronze drum Lusheng performance, and you can stay in Miaojia Diaojiao Building at night.

In addition, there is a silversmith village in Xijiang, which is well known. Miao silver ornaments are all made by hand, and their craftsmanship is extremely high. Silver is also the most sold in the stockade, and the others are silk scarves. If you want to buy something cheap, you need to go down, that is, in the opposite direction of the parking station, where there are few people and the prices in the store are cheap. If you want to buy local Miao handicrafts, you can ask directly in the house, which is generally cheaper than those in shops.
