In response to media enquiries yesterday, a spokesman for the Hong Kong SAR Government said that this year marks the 30th anniversary of the implementation of the Basic Law, and the Hong Kong Committee on the Promotion of Civic Education and the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups will jointly produce and implement a series of programs and activities to promote the Basic Law, including the official flag-raising ceremony and celebration reception held on July 1 day. Hong Kong Television Broadcasting Co., Ltd. is a program production contractor employed by the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups, and will assist in providing thoughtful services such as venue layout, program production and broadcasting for all the above activities.
