So although there are so many scenic spots to visit in Xiamen, I personally only chose some recommendations that can make people feel that they will come to Xiamen.

Xiamen, known as the "Garden City on the Sea", is a famous coastal city at home and abroad, and its scenic features are quite different from those of inland cities, so it is worth visiting.

At present, there are six districts in Xiamen (Siming District, Huli District, jimei district District, Haicang District, Tongan District and Xiang 'an District), which are divided into inside and outside the island. Most famous tourist attractions are concentrated in Siming District, such as Gulangyu Island, Zeng Cuo An Village Village, Xiamen University and Nanputuo. Siming District and Huli District are in the island, surrounded by the sea, and other areas are outside the island.

In view of the fact that five days and four nights are not very plentiful, it is suggested that the travel routes are mainly concentrated in Siming District, and sightseeing is more distinctive. It is not necessary to require all scenic spots to punch in, so as to avoid being too tired for yourself and your children and affecting the play experience.

As for staying in a hotel or a homestay, I think since there are four nights, I might as well experience them all, because each has its own characteristics!

First of all, B&B had better stay for one night, because the decoration and experience of B&B will be more local, which is different from the same hotel chain. Staying in a homestay can better experience the beautiful feeling of traveling.

Compared with B&B, the hotel fee will be lower. I see that the average price of B&B is between 300 and 500 per night, and that of ordinary hotels is between 200 and 400.

If you want to get a good deal, stay in a hotel for one night and stay in a hotel for others! You can compare the booking platforms of major hotels and choose the best one.

① Gulangyu Island

As one of Xiamen's famous scenic spots at home and abroad, if it is the first time to come to Xiamen, Gulangyu Island is recommended to feel it. Gulangyu Island is an independent island, belonging to Siming District, but it is an island within the island, and you have to go up and down by boat. There are many beautiful, classical and magnificent villa buildings on the island, some of which were built when Gulangyu was occupied by foreign invaders, and some were built by a group of very rich overseas Chinese earlier. Now some buildings that have been opened to the outside world are under the jurisdiction of the government, and some private villas are not allowed to visit. The whole island is still the kind of retro literary style temperament, which can be deeply felt.

There is also a magnificent statue of Zheng Chenggong on Gulangyu Island, and many tourists also like to take photos and punch in.

There are also many small shops with their own characteristics on the island, including many online celebrity shops. There are also many fruits on the island! As a subtropical coastal city, Xiamen has a wide variety of fruits, especially those just coming from the north. In the past, there were cases where businesses on the island cheated customers, but now they have been rectified a lot. Therefore, if you see what you want to eat and buy after going to the island, you can spend it appropriately.

Although it is only a small island, it will take a lot of time to walk it all. You can arrange to play on it all day.

You don't need tickets to visit Gulangyu, but you need to buy a boat ticket. It used to be eight yuan, but now it has risen to 30-35 yuan. In addition, there are some small scenic spots on the island, which I have never been to personally, depending on your needs.

Special reminder: it is best to book tickets in advance when visiting Gulangyu by boat! Summer is the peak period of tourism in Xiamen, and tickets are in short supply. ② Xiamen University

Xiamen University is known as the most beautiful university in China, and it is really worth visiting! There are Lu Xun Memorial Hall, Swan Lake, student dormitories with classical characteristics, and the most noteworthy is the Furong Tunnel in Xiamen University. The long arched tunnel is cool in summer, and the walls are covered with students' artistic graffiti, which is perfect for taking pictures! It is the sense of literature and art surrounded by art, which is very romantic. The sunken sports ground of Xiamen University is also very distinctive.

③ Nanputuo

A Buddhist temple, right next to Xiamen University! So if you want to play, these two scenic spots can be arranged before and after, which is more efficient. The incense in Nanputuo is more prosperous. Not only foreign tourists, but also many locals love to burn incense and make wishes. It is said to be more effective. In addition to experiencing Buddhist culture, there is a hill behind Nanputuo. You can climb if you are interested. However, I came down before I completely climbed to the top of the mountain. How long will it take you to understand.

Nanputuo is open to the public free of charge. You can go directly before, but now you need to make an appointment in advance for the epidemic. Also enter the WeChat account of Nanputuo Temple, and then find an appointment in the menu bar. There is a famous vegetarian cake in Nanputuo, and there are shops in the temple to buy it.

④ Huandao South Road (Xiamen University Baicheng, Zeng Cuo An Village Village, Yefengzhai, Haitaitai)

These scenic spots in brackets are all on a line around Huandao South Road! It is said that Huandao South Road is the most beautiful route around Xiamen, and I personally agree with it. The outermost sea, then there is the beach, and there are plank roads and auxiliary roads. I often go around the island myself, and the scenery is really good.

Baicheng in Xiamen University actually refers to a beach, which is very popular because it comes out of a back door of Xiamen University and crosses an overpass of network celebrities. You can have a look and feel there.

Face the sea, continue to the left, and you will arrive at Zeng Cuo An Village Village. Zeng Cuo An Village Village has been very popular in the past two years. In fact, it is a mini version of Gulangyu Island, and its shop style is the same as that on Gulangyu Island. The phenomenon of cheating customers before was very serious, and it is said that it has been rectified now. If you don't have enough time, you can walk a few steps to the entrance of the village without spending too much time.

Going further out of Zeng Cuo An Village Village, you will arrive at Haeundae and Yefeng Village, which are dominated by grassland, sea and beach landscapes, with little overall difference.

To play on this route, you can prepare some tools in advance, such as sand digging clothes and kites. If you want to go, you can bring a blanket and find a shady place to have a picnic. If you don't want to go, you can bring food and sit on the lawn or on the beach.

It is highly recommended that you can experience cycling around the island. There is a taxi stand on the road, and it won't be very expensive. Now the management is very standardized. You can rent seats for two or three people. You can play when the sun is not so clear around five o'clock in the afternoon. You can ride along the island road for half an hour to an hour. The cycling road is quite spacious and safe. The road is full of sea views, and the experience is very good!

Playing in these places is free, except renting bicycles.

⑤ Zhongshan Road (Chinatown)

Mainly a shopping street, because there are buildings with Minnan style on both sides of the street, it is more distinctive. Visiting this place is mainly about eating and drinking buy buy. Opposite Zhongshan Road is Gulangyu Island, so these scenic spots I mentioned above are very concentrated! By the way, there are Shapowei, Xiamen University Art West District, Ding 'ao Zaimao Street and so on. They are all in this area, because these scenic spots are just a short walk, relatively small and close, so you can go shopping together if you want to play. All free, no admission.

⑥ botanical garden

It is also a scenic spot that I personally like. There are many kinds of plants, and the planning inside is also very beautiful, which has a European feeling. There are not only various rare plant landscapes here, but also a fleshy botanical garden, which is very suitable for taking pictures. While sightseeing, it is also good to give children nature education. This park is quite large. If you want to play, you can play for one day, and if time is tight, you can play for half a day. The botanical garden is near Xiamen University.

Special reminder: In the past, the Botanical Garden had to accept 40 yuan when entering the park alone, but now there is a preferential policy, which is free to open until August 3 1! But you should also make an appointment in official website, Xiamen Botanical Garden.

⑦ Xiamen Cultural and Art Center (mainly Xiamen Science and Technology Museum and Xiamen Museum)

The Cultural and Art Center is a complex, where the island's libraries, workers' gymnasiums and trade unions are all concentrated. For tourists, Xiamen Science and Technology Museum and Xiamen Museum are worth recommending. They can play together, and they are close!

The Science and Technology Museum is mainly about popular science exhibitions and interactions with different themes. It won't be boring, and you can learn a lot of knowledge points. It is recommended to take care of children. You need to buy a ticket, but the fare is not expensive. You can visit them all in half a day. Xiamen Museum mainly displays the characteristics of Minnan customs. The museum is so small that you can finish it in an hour or two. 8 bus

As a century-old vegetable market in Xiamen, it is still worth a visit! You can see some seafood varieties that are not common in inland cities, which is also a good eye-opener. Besides seafood, there are all kinds of snacks. Usually locals buy more seafood, but foreign accents are sometimes cheated. I often go to Bashi, but I always buy other snacks. So if you play, go for a walk and buy some snacks on the roadside. There is a satay noodle at the entrance of Bashi, where you can have a meal.

Pet-name ruby catch the sea

This is a project that people in a coastal city love very much. At low tide, many people will carry buckets to dig clams. There are several places where Xiamen can go to sea, but as far as I know, a relatively large beach is in Tongan, and there is a large beach next to Xiamen Seven Star Portman Hotel, which is very suitable for going to sea.

Satay noodles, batter, fried oysters, and ginger duck, all of which are Minnan specialty snacks, and I personally like them, and they are all delicious. Gulangyu and buses will have these snacks. When I visited Zhongshan Road, there was an old woman burning grass, which was less than 10, and it was quite delicious. It is a local brand snack in Xiamen. You can buy other snacks according to your own preferences! Generally speaking, the tourism on the island is relatively standardized and civilized now, and there will be no more cases of making up for the rest.

Day 1: After getting off the plane, go straight to Gulangyu for one day and stay for one night (there are also many homestays in Gulangyu). Remember to book the boat tickets and homestays in advance.

The next day and the third day: he stayed in Gulangyu for one night and checked out. He took a route different from returning by boat. When he went, he had to go to Du Dong by boat. When he came back, he took a straight boat to the other side, and the other side was the ferry Zhongshan Road! Therefore, Gulangyu can find hotels around, and it is best to book in advance. After your luggage is put away, you can choose the scenic spots according to your actual situation. In these two days, you can mainly visit these places-Nanputuo, Xiamen University (including Furong Tunnel), Huandao South Road (Xiamen University Baicheng Beach, Zeng Cuo An Village Village, Yuntai and Yefeng Village are available for cycling), Botanical Garden and Catch the Sea, and then you can visit Zhongshan Road in the evening, which will be less hot.

Day 4 Day 5: Xiamen Science and Technology Museum (the address of Siming District Culture and Art Center), Xiamen Museum, canoeing experience, Eight Cities (Eight Cities suggest going at night). You can visit these two days, because you are going back to the city on the fifth day, so the distance arranged in these two days will not be very tight, and you can increase or decrease freely according to the itinerary.

Attention! Now the epidemic situation, you must have a health code and a mask when you go out, and you must bring your ID card. Because the island is small, you can take a taxi wherever you want, and the fare will not be expensive. If the walking route is not clear, you can use navigation to enter your position and destination, and the time and distance will be clear and convenient.

The T3 and T4 flight buildings of Gao Qi Airport are all on the island, Xiamen Station is on the island, and Xiamen North Station is off the island. So if you fly, take a taxi to where you want to go.

Guanyin Mountain Water World, located in Siming District of the island, is an artificial paradise mainly for playing with water, with performances during the day and at night.

Jimei Xuecun is mainly a Minnan style building complex.

Garden Expo Park is a comprehensive large-scale park with beautiful scenery outside the island, which can see the sea and trees.

Wuyuanwan Wetland Park is a beautiful park with labyrinthine plants and black swans. They are also on the island. If you have enough time, you can play.

Bay park is a park with sunset and sea view, located in Siming District of the island.

Dongping Mountain (Zengwen Road, Meihailing) in the same area is dominated by mountain scenery. There are large bougainvillea (Xiamen flower, also known as bougainvillea) on Meihailing Mountain.

Shangli Reservoir has a spacious and beautiful lawn suitable for picnicking. It's opposite the botanical garden.
