Toilets, like traffic, have morning and evening peaks. When we design the bathroom, the first consideration should be people's needs. If we make a classification, the most important thing is to go to the toilet, brush your teeth, wash your face, make up and wash your clothes. Take a shower or something. First, the bathroom is dry and wet alternately.

There are three modes of wet and dry separation in the bathroom, which are word of mouth, semi-open, solid wall and independent. From the washstand to the shower area, the ingenious design makes the functions no longer interfere with each other, and the reasonable partition can fully protect everyone's privacy. Partition and dry-wet separation are integrated. The partitions that can be designed here are glass partitions, wall partitions and shower curtain partitions. Second, the bathroom is divided into three types

The three forms of dry-wet separation mentioned above cannot completely solve the supply and demand of a family in practical application. The following design, which makes the separation to the extreme, is the latest design concept in Japan, which is very humanized and practical.

The dry area, wet area and toilet are completely separated by three separation methods. Don't pretend to treat the housekeeping room and bathroom as dry areas. Too detailed classification sometimes brings inconvenience to life. If the bathroom area is relatively small, it is suggested to divide it into dry area and wet area.

1, dry area design

Besides the basic toilet function, the bathroom has many other functions, such as washing face and brushing teeth, changing clothes, making up and so on.

Wash your hands after going to the toilet, which is something you have heard since childhood. Whether taking a bath, going to the toilet or washing clothes, it involves washing hands. There are upper basin, lower basin, wall basin and semi-embedded basin. Materials include natural marble platform, jade, artificial marble and ceramics.

Don't pretend that I don't advise the elderly and children at home to use the basin on the table. Although beautiful, there is a height limit. Moreover, if you want to take care of the countertop at ordinary times, the water on the countertop is not easy to clean.

The basin under the platform is a practical design, and the water stains on the countertop are easy to take care of. This material is made of ceramics.

The biggest advantage of wall-hung washbasin and semi-embedded washbasin is to save the space of bathroom, but the countertop will be slightly narrow and not suitable for putting toiletries.

When designing the size of the washstand in the bathroom, you can refer to the following standard sizes: under-table basin: desktop 850mm, and desktop basin: desktop 750 mm, which can be selected according to the actual needs of the family.

Bathroom mirror is also commonly used in our daily life. They are made of metal, wood, plastic and bamboo. The material mentioned here is the material of the frame, and the size of the mirror can be selected according to the countertop.

(3) Bathroom cabinet

It is suggested that when buying a bathroom cabinet, it is best to be wall-mounted and high-legged, so as to avoid being damp and facilitate cleaning the bathroom. Bathroom cabinets are made of many materials, including natural stone, jade, artificial stone, fireproof board, baking paint, glass, metal and solid wood. It is generally recommended that people buy solid wood in the market, which is comfortable, but they should pay attention to moisture.

(4) Washing machine

Because of the limited area of the bathroom, some people will move the washing machine out of the bathroom, and some will do a full set of things in the bathroom, such as throwing dirty clothes into the washing machine directly after taking a shower, which is also very convenient.

Simply put, the brands of washing machines are Haier, Midea, Little Swan, Changhong, Siemens and other big brands, and the user evaluation is also good, so you can buy them according to the budget.

The types of washing machines are drum, pulsator, single cylinder, double cylinder, mini, washing and drying machine, single dehydrator and so on. 2. Wet areas

There is an obvious advantage of the wet and dry partition of the bathroom, that is, there is no need to do anything waterproof outside the wet area, which can reduce the occurrence of water seepage in the bathroom. Don't pretend that I think it's enough to keep the shower area in the bathroom, and the bathtub is unnecessary. It is inconvenient to see all kinds of cool bathtubs on TV. Drainage takes more than half an hour, which is a waste of time.

There is no need to make windows in wet areas, but be sure to open the door for ventilation. After removing the bathtub, the shower range is about 2, which can make full use of the space. It should be noted that all items in wet areas need to be made of waterproof materials.

We can't dig on the load-bearing wall in the design, because the depth of the niche is between15 and 20 cm. If you want to dig such a space, the thickness of the wall should be about 30cm to avoid damaging the load-bearing structure.

Step 3: Shelves

Shelves are better than niches, because there is no need to destroy the wall surface, and at the same time, the bathroom space can be fully utilized, but there will be some restrictions on bearing capacity. It can be designed in the small corner of the bathroom or above the toilet.

4, bathroom hardware

Whether the bathroom is practical or not depends on the proportion of bathroom hardware. Bathroom hardware includes towel dryer, bathroom rack, bathroom hook and so on. Generally, Jiumu and Kohler belong to the more common brands in bathroom hardware. There are many materials for bathroom hardware, such as space aluminium (see the picture below), stainless steel, copper, zinc alloy and plastic. There are others, of course. It is not recommended to install toilet brushes and soap boxes. This can be purchased according to personal preferences and actual family needs.
