Torch Carnival

Time: July 26th to July 28th, 7pm to 10pm every night, lasting for 3 days.

Location: The locations are respectively at Torch Square of Luogubo Township, Baimiao Village Poetry Town of Daqing Township, and Torch Square of Sihe Township in Xichang City.

The Torch Festival is a grand festival with the largest scale, the richest content, the most spectacular scenes, the largest number of participants, and the richest ethnic characteristics among the many traditional festivals of the Yi people. It has profound folk cultural connotations and is known as It’s called the “Carnival of the East.”

The 2019 China Xichang·Liangshan Yi Traditional Torch Festival will open on July 26, including a total of 28 rich activities in five major sections. Among them, the Torch Carnival will be held on the evening of July 26, and will be held simultaneously at the Torch Square of Luogubo Township, Xichang City, the Poetry Town of Baimiao Village, Daqing Township, and the Torch Square of Sihe Township. Visitors can choose any of them to enjoy "playing" Fire” carnival and feel the charm of the “Oriental Carnival”.

The theme of this year’s Torch Festival is still “Cool Summer·Burning Torches of Love”. The event lasts from July 26 to August 1, and some rural tourism activities will continue until September. Luogubo and Daqing Carnival Points

The torch carnival times at Luogubo Township and Daqing Township are: 7 19:30-22:00 on March 26th; the core areas are: Luogubo Township Torch Square, Daqing Township Poetry Town; set up at the south entrance of Guanhai Road, the intersection of Haibin Road and Meiri Company, the intersection of Wetland Phase II, and the intersection of Martyrs Cemetery control point.

Starting from 8 a.m. on July 26, all public vehicles will be prohibited from the 1,000-meter section from the Triumph Hotel to the Huanhai intersection of Provincial Highway 212 to the Puge direction of Baimiao Village, Daqing Township, and from Gangyao to 505. Park on both sides of the road.

To go to the above two torch carnival spots, tourists can take a special bus shuttle.

Shuttle bus routes: 1. National Stadium - Turn left at the Haihe No. 1 traffic light intersection - Nanshan Avenue - Haibin Road - Gangyao three-way intersection - Torch Carnival experience point; 2. After the carnival night, the Gangyao control point will first release vehicles entering the city. Vehicles entering the city can enter the Wetland Phase 5 and Wetland Phase 5 from the Walnut Village intersection of Wetland Phase 6 from 21:00 on the 26th to 00:00 on the 27th. Turn right at the Xiaoyucun intersection of Wetland Phase III to divert to the east extension of Aerospace Avenue on Xiaoyucun Avenue; after ensuring smooth traffic for vehicles entering the city, vehicles heading to Puge and Dechang will be released.

Surrounding parking spaces are available: more than 300 vehicles in the construction site parking lot next to Baiyue Hotel, more than 150 vehicles in the parking lot of the 10th Water and Electricity Bureau, more than 30 vehicles in the Guanhaiwan Bus Parking Lot, more than 100 vehicles in the Wutongshu Primary School Parking Lot, Martyrs Parking Lot There are more than 100 vehicles in the parking lot next to the cemetery, more than 300 vehicles in the battery factory parking lot, more than 750 vehicles in the wetland phase III parking lot, more than 300 vehicles in the Nanhong Agate City parking lot, more than 320 vehicles in the wetland phase II parking lot, and parking at the back entrance of Qionghai Hotel. Sihe Township Torch Carnival Spot

Sihe Township Torch Carnival time is: 19:30-22:00 on July 26; the core area is: Sihe Township Sihe University Qiaotou; starting from 9 a.m. on July 26, vehicles will be controlled at Post No. 3; all public vehicles are prohibited from parking on both sides of the road from Post No. 3 to the family area of ????Liangshan Prison and the T-shaped intersection of Xiheyanhe Road; emergency emergencies Evacuation area controlled road section: the section from Sihe Bridge to Sihe Township Primary School. In the event of an emergency, traffic control will be implemented at the Shengli North Road Zhouminzhong intersection and at the Panxi Geological Team intersection. After the implementation of traffic control, the first line of Shengli North Road will implement a single cycle. The circular route is: Shengli North Road Laoximen Street intersection - "Come early" Chaihu intersection turn left - State Drug Rehabilitation Center section - left at the Xihe East intersection Turn to the intersection of Xihe East Road and Minshijiayuan Road.

If the traffic volume is too heavy and cannot pass, traffic control will be implemented at the intersection of Shengli North Road West Police Garden and the Party School, and all vehicles will be prohibited from driving in the direction of Sihe Township; traffic diversion will be implemented at the No. 3 traffic light intersection. All public vehicles traveling in the direction of Sihe Township are advised to turn back.

It is only 2 kilometers from the control point to the carnival point. Since there is no large parking lot near the control point and it is not convenient for shuttle buses to pass, it is recommended that citizens walk to the carnival point according to their physical condition, paying special attention to the elderly and children. personal safety.

The truck control point is set up like this.
