We came out of Basha Miao village and went straight to Zhaoxing Dong village.

Zhaoxing Dong Village, located in the southeast of Liping County, Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture, Guizhou Province, is one of the largest Dong villages in China and is known as the "first Dong Village".

Drive for about an hour and a half, and arrive at the parking lot of Zhaoxing Dongzhai Scenic Area at about 1 1: 30 in the morning. Opposite the parking lot is Zhaoxing Dongzhai Tourist Service Center, in front of which is a huge square. Standing in the middle of the square, I feel very small.

Looking up, the building of the service center is very distinctive, connected together like a pagoda. On the left of the square is a huge silver-angled arch, and on the right are several blue and yellow tower-shaped buildings. Most of these tower buildings are octagonal. After buying the tickets, the four of us entered from the gate of the scenic spot and walked along the main street until we reached the stockade. The entrance to the scenic spot is about 1 km from the entrance to Dongzhai Village. The pavements are all cement-built patterned roads, mixed with bluestone roads and pebbles. There are wooden buildings on both sides of the street, and the height of 1-3 is row upon row, extending from the entrance of the scenic spot along the street and river to the depths of the stockade. If you look closely at these wooden buildings, you will find that they are actually brick-concrete houses built of reinforced concrete, but they are all covered with a wooden coat. The integration of ancient architectural forms and modern building materials, although for the sake of the firmness of the house and the convenience of construction, lacks a lot of unspeakable charm.

Bathed in endless colorful flags, signs, noisy images and sounds, we walked and watched all the way.

Walking into the stockade, I keep seeing more and more drum towers, as if in front of the street and behind the lane, and I can see them by turning my head. These drum towers are all named after a certain group, such as Xintuan Drum Tower, Yituan Drum Tower, Zhituan Drum Tower, Ritual Drum Tower and Rentuan Drum Tower. Together, it is "benevolence, righteousness, courtesy and wisdom". It is said that all five families in Zhaoxing Dong Village are surnamed Lu and live in five districts of the village. The local name is "Tuan", hence the name.

According to the data, Dong Zhai Drum Tower is a concentrated expression of Dong nationality's architectural skills. A pagoda shaped like a polyhedron. It is generally more than 20 meters high, from 1 floor to the top, supported by 16 Chinese fir columns. The building center is wide and flat, about 10 square meter, and the bottom is transparent. There is a big fire pit in the middle, with stone bars, wooden railings around it, and a long wooden stool for rest. At the spire of the building, there is a treasure gourd or a Millennium crane, which symbolizes the auspicious peace of the stockade. The eaves of the building are prominent and inclined, giving people a delicate and elegant feeling, such as flying and jumping.

The letter drum tower is the first well-preserved drum tower with a strong sense of history that we have ever seen. It's on the right in the middle of the main street. It is believed that the plaque on Tuantuan Drum Tower reads: "This building is a pyramid-shaped roof pagoda with two eaves and an octagonal drum tower, with a height of 1 1 floor and an area of 136 square meters. Dong language is called "making combat power", which was built by Bai and Ma. It was built in18th century and rebuilt in 1982. Master Zhang Mo is Lu Jixian from Tang 'an. "

At noon, the wooden hole under the letter drum tower was crowded with villagers chatting and resting, many of whom were curious tourists. I also walked into the middle of the Drum Tower to observe carefully. There is a fire pit in the middle open space, and the painted beams on the vault of the Drum Tower are black. It must have been blackened by the smoke rising for a long time in the fireplace.

Walking on, I saw a small river winding through the whole village, with dark brown diaojiao buildings on both sides of the river bank. There are many covered bridges on the river, locally called Flower Bridge, all named after a certain group. It is said that it is also the five flower bridges of "benevolence, righteousness, courtesy and wisdom", but we have not counted them carefully.

The function of the flower bridge on the river is easy to understand and needs no explanation. But what is the Drum Tower for? I walked and talked with Lao Huang. We feel that the Drum Tower, like our Hakka ancestral temple, is a place to worship ancestors and sages. With the development of society and the diversification of cultural life, most important events or daily affairs that affect the family's future and destiny can be discussed and held in the ancestral hall.

We continued to walk along the street to the front of the village, and saw all kinds of things along the way, but lamented that it was not easy to make a living.

I finally met Zhaimen, which was a little unexpected, because it was too humble and a little shabby. In addition, there are two smelly green trash cans by the door, and there are still sundries scattered around the house in front of the door, which is extremely uncoordinated. The management of the whole scenic spot needs to be improved.

Turn back from Zhaimen, pass Rentuan Drum Tower and Rentuan Flower Bridge, and the VIP building is at the bridgehead. The stairs of the diaojiao building in the VIP building are very simple, and it was only on the second floor that this was a hotel. Looking around, the VIP building is surrounded by mountains and waters, quiet and natural If you can stay here for one night, it's good to think about it.

I passed the letter drum tower again. The drum tower is already very lively. Dong boys and girls dressed in costumes are singing Dong folk songs under the leadership of an uncle who is also dressed in costumes. The song appears ethereal and euphemistic. Surrounded by tourists. I think everyone, like me, didn't understand a word. I can't judge the artistry, because I have carefully watched these Dong people wearing costumes, singing with distracted eyes and professional smiles, completely performing and pretending to show them to tourists.

Time is limited, so I might as well buy something to go home. Before we turned around, the hostess had rushed into the air-dried beef shop to cut beef jerky.

Just then, a heavy rain came unexpectedly. Water is wealth. I think this is the best gift left by Zhaoxing Dong Village.
