It is a large-scale water control project focusing on flood control and urban industrial water supply, taking into account the comprehensive utilization of irrigation, power generation, aquaculture and tourism. The maximum water surface of the reservoir is more than 20,000 mu, and the maximum storage capacity can reach 65,438+52 million cubic meters. Dongwushi Reservoir is responsible for flood control and security in seven counties including Cixian and Handan, as well as Beijing-Guangzhou Railway, Beijing-Shenzhen Expressway and National Highway 107.
