Abstract: China's entry into WTO and Beijing's successful bid for the Olympic Games have brought China's hotel industry into an unprecedented era of fierce competition. How to realize the sustainable development of China hotels and enhance their core competitiveness is an important issue for hotel managers. To solve this urgent task, the fundamental starting point will be how to build an enterprise's human resources security system and how to cultivate high-quality human resources that meet the requirements of enterprise strategic development. Therefore, as the most strategic human resource management in hotel management, staff training has been paid more and more attention by managers. At present, there are many problems in the training of hotel industry in China, which often fail to achieve the expected results or give up halfway. It is an inevitable choice for hotel enterprises to establish a hotel training and development system, implement training in a planned and systematic way and improve the overall quality of employees. In this paper, K Hotel is selected as the research object, and the most representative problems in staff training are emphatically analyzed. On the basis of comparing the differences between Chinese and foreign hotel enterprises in staff training, this paper analyzes the present situation of human resources and staff training in K Hotel and its future development requirements. Based on the learning theory and training theory, this paper designs the training development system of K Hotel employees, including training strategic positioning, training design and implementation, training evaluation and the establishment of training effect transformation mechanism. This system not only provides a feasible staff training scheme for K Hotel, but also makes it better serve the overall strategic development requirements of K Hotel.
